  1. The only Bass with an alpha/numeric piece of code for every stud.....
  2. So do I and it is not about note choice or chops but attitude and inner thoughts, so refreshing!
  3. They should give you a Subscription for all the Publicity you are getting for them...!
  4. Wonder what the selling fees are for that on ebay: mind if they have one of those £1 selling fee offers ker-ching!
  5. Easily Yes. If you get a wedge stand it will help you hear it even better too.
  6. She's really cool, just stands there and what she plays just fits the sound exactly. No filler and no poncing around.
  7. Thats what I got there seem to be different offers depending on how many times you visit the site....
  8. Been raving about this YT for a couple of weeks now. It's 1 hr 10 minutes of sketches, music and an interview, this week with Victor Wooten ( at 21 mins). Really surprised at the interview, Victor is so not like a Bass virtuoso in the way he talks about music. Even if you are not into funk this is a great series of shows, no-one is doing anything like this with music at the moment. Bit of a nod to the British too....
  9. Was tempted at £2.50 an issue (although I remember getting quite bored with it before I quit my sub 8 or so years ago)...just checked on the offer again after looking yesterday and they are now doing 5 issues for £5 and I can cancel at any time, so worth a punt I reckon. Could not find Razzle but they have some great Tractor publications...
  10. Too blimmin cold in my black shirt and no jacket... but I did bring my curly cable to add some interest.
  11. Not sure if it is a Peerless or a HB clone, I did remark upon it as we have a standing joke that 'it has to be a real Fender'....
  12. Yes, I'm living life in the fast lane ( which was actually cordoned off)!
  13. Headlining at Frome Sunday Market today (means you get 60 minutes rather than the 30 mins the 3 other acts get) and the rain held off for most of the gig. We were under cover, 6 on a tiny stage, no backline so I took the Acinonyx again as they close off the centre of Frome so parking close by is impossible. Apparently sounded good for the punters and onstage pretty good too. Picked up some more garden plant supports from one of the stalls too....
  14. I do hate it when they don't iron the duvet cover used as a backdrop......
  15. Sold a strap to Gavin, he paid straight away and great comms too. Cheers
  16. A mole did that to a Bass? Must take mine out of storage in a hole in the garden! However being more sensible, as Mods presumably scan the postings on the site anyway, how hard would it be for them to just delete any errant posts, as they currently do now? I'll even offer to report it if the 'matchwood photo' comes up again. That way it must save at least 100 yards of scrolling across the membership......
  17. It actually does if you read a number of the posts in this lounge, because every time you leave a topic you have to scroll past the stupid photo again. How would you like a lawsuit from me claiming RSI against BC( yes, I can be sarcastic too)...... Just delete it now, you know it makes sense!
  18. On the plus side, it should be easy to get that 'out of phase strat sound' with the 5 way selector switch........
  19. Hardly used, ideal for 80's Fenders or current Harley Bentons.....! £20 plus postage please. They are around double new.
  20. Cory Wong is putting out some great content on Youtube, wonder who's paying cos the production is spot on with big sets and lots of humour? Sonny T his Bassist is something else too, he plays a l/h Dolphin with the strings the w(r)ong way around, basically upside down.
