Just re-read the Schechter 7 string blurb, apparently he does the "tuner reorientaion conversion himself". Would that be taking the Tuner out and leaving a big bloody hole? Useful if you are into Clapton era solos, you could stick an e-fag into it....

I contacted someone on JMB and we had a good initial exchange. In response to his comment that "I wasn't 14 was I as many who posted were" I said , "No I'm 58 actually!" No response since.....

Have I understood this corrrectly...TC initiate a recall and the purchaser has to pay the postage back to their Repair Agents?!

Just sold a 5 String from them in Spalted Maple and got a replacement coming this week. Will do a review.

I'd be very wary, the last dodgy one that was on was a similar modus operandi. It was advertised on Bournemouth Gumtree and ended up being in the Scottish Isles. The guy never once spoke to me about the Bass, just how he wanted payment. When I suggested someone looking at it, he got very jumpy. He had an eastern european name which may/may not have been genuine. I was never interested in the Bass, just how the scam would work, The photos were the same ones from a previous scam according to those who know these things.
