1. We sold 62 tickets in the end altogether and there were 2 prizes open to presales , so you had around a 1 in 31 chance of winning..... But you can feel proud of the fact we will have raised around £350 for Live Music Now!
 2. All the presales tickets were put in (honest) and none were drawn out: yours was actually 96 on a yellow ticket. I'd bought 2 and they did not come out either!

 5. Thanks to all who attended...TK4108 will be posting some photos soon I hope! Re the Raffle I'll put the details up on the "Raffle" thread: makes sense doesn't it? On second thoughts, link to Raffle results:http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=40247&st=40
 6.
My guitar player borrowed a pre Ernie Ball Stingray from a friend of his, hoping that I would love the sound and feel.I picked it up,plugged it in,noodled around for about 15 minutes, and was underwhelmed. My Status does everything that the 'ray does, but with a better neck! I'm sure legions of angry 'ray fans will call for my head on a plate, but this was proof that iconic basses are in the eye of the beholder.
yep, it's a shame about Ray........... I once had a Status Groove 5 string, a cracking bass!
can we still buy them at the bash? or are the 'mans' rules just for basschat?
The "mans rules" are for those not arsed or unable to attend in person: if you buy tickets at the Bash you get entry to the top prizes plus a host of other goodies too. A further bonus if you attend on the day is you get to see if I am as irritating in person as I am on this thread.....

 14. I'm stripping a B2 and will not be using the existing pots/controls. Let me know if you need anything: having said that it is passive, they could be different and as the pickups are dead I have not tested what is the problem yet! Also had a dodgy tuner so replaced it but had to buy 4, have 3 spare tuners and 4 bridges too!
 15. Did our monthly gig at the Old Tramshed in Saltaire: asked a few Basschatters and workmates along as it was my last day as a wage slave: have taken early retirement! Good to see Toasted, Mr Bassman, Heavyj amongst some other wellwishers too. We sound-checked "Your Love is King" having not rehearsed it together, and put it straight into the set: we have a Valentines Ball tomorrow night too so it will come iin handy along with "My Funny Valentine" and "Days of Wine and Roses".
