I had an electro-acoutic Crafter 5 String and sold it because it was impossible to intonate the B correctly as the bridge was wooden and had no adjustment. I got fed up with band members saying I was out of tune. Sounded nice but it depended on the amp it was played through, the Roland Cube was best.

Why not ask him to take the neck off and either ship it both pieces together or even seperately? It reduces the size and value....

Think Tribute production now is in Indonesia and they are going up in price.....

I had a red one which is now with another B'chatter: it's a really nice bass to play, well balanced and some good tones for a passive. Don't buy new, the guy selling one on here was selling the more expensive one with a longer top horn for around £600 I recall, don't know if he ever got rid of it? The body is detachable and the knobs are concealed.....

The bass is in Kettering but the pickup is in Wolverhampton......sorry , I'll get me coat!

The 'Squire' 5 String precision has to, because the 4 string Precision pickups cover 2 strings each, so with 5 you would need 1 larger than the rest if you kept the same configuration....

weird as he has other basses and guitars for sale, the Precision is priced more realistically although it's a "bitsa"

It can't be as "it is one of the top models in the £350 price bracket"... To be fair his local music shop may have charged him top whack on it but in this age of the internet it takes no time to do a price comparison.

Was not aware the little markbass II head, (which is what this essentially is) had a limiter: if there is distortion something ain't right in the signal chain....

I am doing a Shuker 1-2-1 build- your- own course in September, that way you get it in a week and and all(nearly) your own work. Mind I'm not going for anything too exotic in wood or shapewise.

I thought "The Wirral" was distinct from Liverpool and "scally" free.......?

It does have an XLR out which is a Jaydee trademark....but nothing else on it looks like JD's handiwork from my recollection of the Roadie I used to have.
