2. Just added this practice amp to the' Amps for Sale section, you know you want it, Sir.
 3. Building upon the success of the other Charity Auctions for Bass Guitars, this 'as new' Stagg 20 Watt Practice Amp R.R.P. £69.00 has been very generously donated by Solo4652 It's ideal as a starter Amp or for those who do not want to get their big rig out to noodle at home. Tickets are £3.50 each and the Winner will be responsible for either postage ( about £10) or collection from the North West. As before please pledge on this thread and I'll then PM you with payment options. The owner of the Winning Ticket will get to choose which one of the following Charities the money raised by this Raffle goes to: either MBF, Orpheus, Youth Music, Drake Music or Nordorff Robbins. The closing date for buying tickets will be 8.30 pm on Saturday 12th July, the winning ticket will be drawn by Ernie (the busiest milkman in the West of Yorkshire) at that time. Unless we have at least 10 tickets purchased I reserve the right to pull the Raffle and will refund ticket money! Remember this is for Charity and literally is a great little package too. Let's all aim to top £400 for all these Charity Raffles please?
 4.
Nice to see the North West coming up on the outside.....
Shouldn't that be "hopping " on the outside?
 5. Updated scores on the doors..... North East: 2 North West: 6 Yorks & Hum: 6 East Mids: West Mids:2 East Eng: 1 London:2 South East: 9 South West: 3 Wales: 2 Scotland: 4 N. Ireland: Stateless: 1 There's 3500 odd Basschatters and less than 1% have bought a Raffle ticket...........how about an Amp raffle too? Watch this space.
 6.
oh stuff it... I'll put my oar in for £160 I'll be eating beans on toast for a month if I win it though...
Top man, "Beans, beans, good for the heart, the more you eat, the more you....!
 7.
I'll have a punt. Sorry to mess your stats up though, this is one ex-pat geordie living down in Crawley. Can I be put down as both?? Let me know how you want the fiver.
Ex-pat Geordie wise-guy alert Having myself been born near London, then growing up in the NE(current Toon S/T holder) and now living in Yorkshire, on that basis I qualify for 3 regions.....I am sure you can see the problem with your scoring system PS Just to reassure concerned ticket buyers, I will not be purchasing tickets for obvious reasons! PPS You're down as a 'SE'!!
 8.
quick question about the charities please...... what's BMF ? thanks in advance
Actually MBF.....Musicians Benevolent Fund

 10. "Well if you can get £15 tenners pledged I don't mind it becoming a raffle as if I get it I will probably only flog on in a few weeks anyway! Steve" What do others think?
 11. I think you should bid for this: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=22695 A really nice bass and worth a lot more than you could end up paying for it. You'll need an amp mind as mentioned earlier, especially for busking!
 12. Updated scores on the doors..... North East: 1 North West: 4 Yorks & Hum: 5 East Mids: West Mids:2 East Eng: 1 London:1 South East: 8 South West: 3 Wales: 1 Scotland: 3 N. Ireland: Stateless: 1
 13.
I'm in London and I bought a ticket yesterday :-(
Yes, but as you did not fill in any of the details on your profile I put you down as "Stateless"! However I am willing to redress this situation by amending the "scores on the doors"
 14. In response to a query: The winning ticket holder will get to choose which one of the following Charities the money raised goes to: MBF, Orpheus, Youth Music, Drake Music and Nordorff Robbins.
 15.
I was bored and drunk when I did that. your captioniono was fine. Thanks again for putting it all on. really enjoyed the day except the car trouble on the way.
No worries just joking !

 17.
I was hoping this was another raffle...
It sort of is.....except the ticket price is a little bit more but you have a better chance of winning
 18.
There's a point, let's get regional about this to see who's the most charitable . C'mon you Lancashire/Greater Manchester/Merseysiders!!
Unfortunately not everyone puts their location on their avatar: unless we had a 'stateless' category?
 19.
BUMP....Come on someone else must want this more than me :-)
One would have thought so.....?
 20. Right the first 20 pm's have been sent out, I'm looking for at least another 20 before close of play on the 12th July. A £5 won't even buy you a pint in London, and I spill around a £5's worth of petrol when filling up my car now! So "thanks" so far but I know we can do better: there are a lot of Yorkshire Basschatters out there who have not contributed yet.....?
 21.
here's 20, i think!
Unless you are buying 2 tickets Nick, I'd already counted you from your earlier post! So, we are still needing at least 1 more £5 raffle ticket purchaser.....(rock n) roll up!
