Bought a Warwick Star Bass from ebay about a month ago. No issues, it arrived as described and all through the transaction the Seller kept me up to date with things. He had good feedback which helped my decision and after it arrived and I mentioned it did not come with the strap part of the strap locks, he apologised and posted on to me the relevant bits.

Don't think it is a scam and for a couple of £ it's your choice if you enter. Obviously we don't know how many tickets they are selling for each draw but probably better odds than the lottery, although the prize is much smaller. The question for the Ibby is 'what is the standard tuning for a 5 string bass' and it gives 3 options so someone has done a little homework. The 'about us' says it's run by a Pro Bass player( who's probably seen all his bookings evaporate ) and has come up with this income generating idea. One can only assume he has looked into the legitamacy of it all? Just revisiting it, it appears the photos are in the same background so they will be his own Basses he is selling and has come up with this way of doing it?

If it dispensed with the Jazz control plate and what appears to be Router burn on the upper cutaway, it is not bad value for a bespoke Bass, given the charlatan out there who thinks writing on the headstock makes it luthier produced!

This was on my Telecaster Bass before its refurb but was not hiding any damage once removed. The reddish sticker on the reverse side of the headstock says 'ETS Pasdeloup, Paris' and is /was a music shop so pretty cool....?

BTW you say your's is a 2001. don't you mean 2011? Mines 2012. Secondhand ones only come up very rarely in the UK, I'd been looking for a Korean Pro Series for some time and one only popped up last month that was sensible money.

Yes, the Chinese ones all are but the earlier Korean Pro series are 34" on both the 4 and 5 stringers. Incidentally the Chinese Lee Sklar Starbass at c.£940 is also 34" .

Shock horror, professional musician wants to make some money! He's given loads for free so why not seperately to YT try and monetarise his playing whilst he's got very little work? Bands charge loads for VIP 'meet and greets' anyway.
