Due to a change to separates, I've got this really nice combo up for sale. It's just on 1 year old and although the 250 watt version, really kicks out the sound. I bought it as I was hankering after my old LMII and a 102 Traveller cabinet I had maybe 10 years ago and it has never has been found wanting. I have all the original packing and box and the combo is in excellent condition. With it being a taller cab than the CMD 121P, you hear it better and don't need the ubiquitous velcro wedge to tilt up the cab. I made my own 'hillbilly' cover for it, it's waterproof and gives some padded protection too. It also comes complete with the mains cable and has it even has a leather handle rather than the cheapy rubber ones. The apparent marks on the back of the rear photos are from the flash, the black carpet is not faded! The wording is very suspect: 'the brother to' so is it a brother to PMC's bass rather than owned by the brother of PMC? If the latter was not aware Mike McGear played Bass and even if he did so it's not worth £25k -

I went to the wedding reception of an old singer in our band to this guy who was a muso and record producer near Ilkley. She said she was definitely not singing that night but there would be a few musos there who would be playing. We arrived to see a full band set-up on stage and as the evening progressed various combinations of top Leeds/Bradford players got up and played/sang songs they had chosen with a theme related to the newly married couple. At one stage a youngish woman called Corinne got up and sang a couple of songs: this was pre to her first album being released although the groom had been working with her for some time before. He also did an album with Charlotte Church. Oh, it was CB-R singing that night.

I played a wedding at a nice venue near Halifax 10? years ago. In our break the Groom asked if it was alright if him and some of his mates used our instruments to play "Like a Hurricane (or similar) by Neil Young and a few other tunes after we finished the second set. At the time there had been a similar thread to the current one about lending gear so I said to the guy who wanted to play my Bass and use my gear "fine but give me your car keys" He asked why and I replied that 'I was unwilling to lend out my valuable gear to someone who had been drinking all afternoon and for all I knew would trash my gear, so I wanted some sureity'. He was quite offended, him and another guest were the Bassist and Drummer from Embrace! I let him use my gear in the end....

Markbass CMD121 combo and NYC 151 cab

I have the Piezo modded as per this site so it is bypassed anyway..thanks for the photo , I think my gear ocd might be able to cope with the size mismatch! -
Hi Guys I've come to the conclusion all I need to be happy with my sound is the CMD121P combo and to augment it with the 121 cab when necessary. I had the 121 cab but due to the gigs I was doing did not need it and sold on here. Fast Forward a couple of years and I'm sure that is what I now need as some of the gigs are a bit bigger now. Naturally can't see any in the classifieds currently but I'm wondering if a NYC151 would work as well? Obviously I'd have to see if I can live with the cab size difference but soundwise it would just add a bit more presence I guess than the 121? Both 8 ohms so a full 500 watts, but anything I've not thought of?

If it's Fender they are not OEM knobs as they are very knurled...
