I have tried numerous brands of coated strings so I believe I pretty good handle on Elixirs competition. If you don't mind smelling like a teenager, Deodorant is fantastic at cleaning off sticker goo and is readily available.

Lozz. If you remember playing my old Ash 77', that had a great bright tone (though it had an SPB-1 in it) and it was in the 8-9lb mark. I suggest selling the 78' and looking for a lighter vintage P. Don't muck around with your injury because of an unnecessarily light bass. You only have one body.

So I have been mucking around with the pedals. Idiot box first sounds pretty good! So sticking with that. Unfortunately my Bass Deluxe has developed a faulty switch so needs to go in for repair

Evening Gents. Looking at a power supply for the following pedals. Pedal AC/DC Voltage MA Korg Pitch Black DC 9 35 Mooer Bass sweeper DC 9 7 Digitech Bass Whammy Reissue DC 9 265 (Probably a minimum) Idiotbox Bass Blower DC 9 10 Tech 21 VT Bass Deluxe DC 9 100 Boss BF2 DC 9 18 Boss CE5 DC 9 22 Joyo Digital Delay DC 9 34 Budda Chakra DC 9 12 Total MA is 503. I am having a hard time finding a power supply to power all these pedals at once. I was looking at the Harley Benton one which can supply 8x9V at 500 MA and 1x12V at 500MA. But none of my pedals are 12Volt. Nearly done. Just awaiting a Boss BF2 Flanger (snarf). Maybe get a DD3 delay to replace the Joyo Delay, mostly for more options and it will give me a little bit more room on the board. Then it's on to looking for a power supply that will fit behind the Digitech Bass Whammy and power 9 pedals. I decided to ditch the Line Selector idea unless I get a second board. Will need to work out pedal order and get some low profile cabling. First guess would be Korg Pitch Black Tuner/Mooer bass sweeper/Digitech bass whammy/Idiot box Bass Blower Distortion/ VT Bass deluxe/Boss BF2 Flanger/Boss CE5 Chorus Ensemble/Joyo Digi Delay then Budda Chakra Compressor. Considering getting an extra layer of foam for the top part of case so that any pedals that come loose from the velcro sticker, won't move around as much. Apart from the incoming Flanger it's quite a dull looking board! No massively lurid bright pedals which is dissapointing.

Just received mine. Though I am awful with Compressors so I don't know how good my opinion will be! Seems solid enough. Manual looks a bit useless. Wouldn't mind changing the chicken knobs to make it look a little different to other Joyo/Chinese pedals)

I think you should be getting a US Fender Jazz for the trade value of your Musicman.
