1. I tried both the new rumbles and Markbass stuff in wunjos a few months ago. The Rumble stuff was fantastic. Very lightweight, great value and had a decent warm tone. I went with a full Markbass rig in the end as it sounded more hi Fi and clean, I have my VT deluxe bass to provide my lofi and overdriven tones and I wanted to cover all the areas. Honestly go try them both out.

Hey all. I have a lovely LTD ESP B-206 Spalt Maple bass. 3 Piece body with Spalt Maple cap, Quite lightweight for a 6 string bass. No neck dive whatsoever. Genuinely very low action which can go even lower if you have a light touch. Great range of tones from the pickups, very lively. 35" Scale, very easy to play. Very little play wear, in great condition. Electronics are very clean, truss rods are working 100% with plenty of adjustment available both ways. Pickup from London only at the moment as I do not have a box to transport it in. Comes with a Warwick Rockbag and has had a recent setup and new set of strings. Brilliant value bass. No haggling please. Price paid is the price advertised. £230.
3. Traded out for a Stingray!
4. Here she is. Not keen on rosewood to look at, but certainly plays good! 9lbs in weight, 2008 White sparkle Pearl Ray, non matching headstock. A few dings here in and there but nothing major. Still setting up, but can go very low at the moment! It's been a few years since I last had a ray and it feels good!
5. Found me a 9lb 2006 Pearl/rosewood ray and did a deal with wunjos on it this afternoon. I bring her home within the week! Usually not keen on rosewood myself but this one played and sounded great.
6. Bump!
7.
So very tempting, and I'm going to be in London soon... hmmm. I'm looking for another Classic 50 Precision (the creamy white ideally, but black/tinted maple is classy), what's the neck like on this one? Is it "chunky" (I call it comfy but most others call it chunky ) like in teh Classic 50 ones, or is this more based on 70s ones?
It's the EXACT same as the 50's Precision Neck. So chunky
8. Final reduction to just £425 picked up from London.
9. Doug Keyser of Watchtower used one of these for recording one of the most technical examples of metal bass playing ever. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4h5L2Ooy5w Great idea of the type of cutting but fat tone you can get when mixed right. I am really tempted myself if only I was not hankering for a Stingray!
10. Desperately looking to buy a Sub 9lb stingray, does such a thing exist?! The blue and white ones are really floating my boat!
11. Chap just picked this up. SOLD
12.
These are fantastic basses that can do it all. Just my humble opinion but I think you should keep this bass ....... it is much better than the JP model from what I remember
Noted
I had one of these, really great basses. Aren't they 35" scale ?
This is a MK1, So 34" scale.
13. Hello all. I have here a Yamaha TRB6P. Bought it as an experiment and I love it! So much so I am now selling it so I can get the more expensive JP model! Brief overview. 34 Inch scale, 19mm String spacing. Perfect if you like wide string spacing, really helps when performing slap lines. This ones a very early example. The bass has been played a fair bit, frets/fingerboard are a little worn but have lots of life left, headstock has a few chips but the body is in great condition. Hardware has lost some of its gold. Pre-amp and Piezo is in great working order. It's actually fairly light considering the size of the beast. Action is very low. I am after £800 cash, OR a Musicman 3EQ 4 String Stingray, must be 9lbs or under, matching headstocks or special colours preferred. The only other trade/part ex I would go for is for a Blue one of these OR a JP model one. At the moment I am not interested in posting, you are welcome to come around to my place in Wimbledon, or I can meet up in Central London. Comes with what looks like the original beatup Yamaha Hardcase, though it is missing it's handle.
14. Bass player available for Hardcore Punk. Influences include Strike Anywhere, A Wilhelm Scream, I am Avalanche, Code Orange Kids, Smoke and Fire, Converge, Belvedere, Crime in Stereo, Defeater, The Lawrence Arms, Rise Against, Nothing's Carved In Stone and many more. I am in my 20's, interested in having a good time and playing gigs. I am gainfully employed, reliable and dedicated to music. I have samples of my previous bands available. The ideal band for me would be a fast, tight, melodic Hardcore band, big on hooks, with fast songs and talented musicians. Not interested in management or "Label interest" as I have a strong DIY ethic. Please contact me with where/when you practice, current band line up and a list of your bands influences. 15. This looks fantastic. If only!
16. You might want to check out the pole pieces line up on the classic 50. Would look weird. You may have to invest in rail style or closed pickups.
17. Wunjos has the wooden finish one. They look "alright". It's a bit John Major to look at though.
18. Still love that yammy ;-) let me know if it's up for sale and I'd consider!
19. How many pieces is the body made from? Wunjos has one with a 2 piece, though It looks badly matched at the back but fine at the front. Correct me if I am wrong, but pretty sure its an ash body stained walnut?
20. Stainless steel or nickel elixirs?
21. Do you have the original Pre-amp?
22. Bass has now sold to a member here for the full amount. Please check out my advert for a Fender Roger Waters precision which I am now taking part exchanges on for a cheap replacement 6 string bass!
23.
any sound slips ?
No sorry. Best I can do is describe it! Its a burpy modern tone. Lots of defined low end. Think of the band Infectious Grooves and you aren't a million miles away.
