  1. Hi there, yes c/o stands for custom order, hence the pickup layout. The nut is 38mm. I do have recordings but im away on gigs for the next couple of days so can't put anything up just yet. I've also got somebody coming to look at it on Sunday. If its still available after then, ill dig some sound clips out.

    Thanks, Alan.

  2. Up for sale is my 2002 Warwick C/O Streamer LX4. Made in Germany. I bought it second hand in 2004. It has a flame maple body, ovangkol neck and wenge fingerboard. As it was a custom order, the pickups are laid out as you often see on Thumb basses, at an angle and both at the bridge end. They are active MECs. I have waxed it only two or three times in the ten years I've owned it so it has slightly discoloured patches above the front pickup and on the forearm contour as well as numerous small scratches around the edges of the body which I have found difficult to photograph. Nothing at all serious but consistent with twelve years of play. It has otherwise been well cared for and set up and is in good order. It weighs about 8lbs 12oz as best I can tell. My scales aren't very good.

I'll be sad to see it go - it's the bass in my avatar by the way, but I've moved on. Included in the sale is the original manual, tub of wax and a Tribal Planet semi-hard case, a great case but unfortunately torn under the handle. Possibly repairable. I'm looking for £650

I would much prefer cash on collection but do have the means to post.

I'm based in Colne, Lancashire. Please feel free to get in touch if you want to come round and try it out.

  3. Here's an unused Hipshot B-style bridge in satin finish aluminium. It has two small finish imperfections, one on the top face, right in the middle on the back edge, if that makes sense, and one on the side, top face again. I struggled to capture the first one in the photos. Otherwise, it's as new. If you're reading this for the second time, I have edited the description as I had thought that the mark on the side was a cat hair or similar. It ain't. I have also dropped the price accordingly. £25 posted

  4. Here's a PJ bass body I bought from bass-parts.de, makers of Bass-Line basses in Germany. It's unfinished alder 2pc, rear rout with a wood control rout cover. I forget the exact weight but it's a tad under 5lbs. I can check this if required. I no longer have the time, money or inclination to complete the project so it's up for grabs. There's a slight scuff mark on the end of the upper horn. Nothing that won't sand out. I paid £165 posted, I'll take [s]£130 [/s] [s]£90[/s]

UPDATE: posted this ages ago but no takers. I've updated the pictures. It's an unusually wild looking piece of alder. There's some nice figuring along the top and bottom and the dark stripe down the middle runs uphill as it gets toward the bridge. Crazy! Surely this is a bargain at £80. Come on people.

  5. I've had these EMG PJX pickups for about a year, having bought them from Thomann. I've had them in and out of one or two project basses but never gigged them, so they're virtually as new. All of the original bits and pieces are included, however I've cut the spade connectors off the output lead (the circuit output, not the pickup output) so this will need either soldering to the output socket or refitting with new spade connectors. I've not really settled on active pickups, or the PJ format, so have decided to move these on. They did sound beautiful though. All in original packing. £75 posted.

  6. One Fender American Standard Precision body in sunburst from 2011. Weighs around 4lbs 12oz on my unreliable kitchen scales. In good condition. There are a handful of surface marks in the clear coat and the tiniest of dents on the top edge but no paint missing. Includes Dunlop strap buttons. I have more pics but am struggling to upload them for some reason. £160 posted.
