4.
Seeing this still out there everyday is really killin' me. I keep thinking stoopid thoughts....
Yes, someones got to buy this bass as it's just torture seeing it listed here
 5. I'm with lozbass - Aguilar DB680 is very nice sounding, Millennia TD-1 is truly truly epic, and is versatile as it can be used for a range of instruments, not just bass, but I plumped for the Jule Monique, which suits my style of playing and gives me the sound I want.. How much do you want to spend?
 6. You can pre-order for £1599 from Bass Direct http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Vanderkley_Aurora_amplifier.html It will be interesting to see how the pre-amp in the Auroa performs. I've just bought a Jule Monique tube pre-amp and used it to by pass the pre-amps in friend's amps, namely: Tecamp Puma 900 Aguilar DB751 (assuming you can hear the amp over the droning fans cooling the bloody thing) Aguilar TH500 Genz Benz Streamliner 900 It was astonishing how the Monique improved the sound from all of them, I guess the pre-amp is the weakest part, hopefully the Aurora addresses this weakness.
 7.
Yes Mark, something very different. I just looked around at statii.com, and the Stealth being described as very hi-fi. Sounds like I know what I'll be after in the near future.
I'll take any of your Wals off your hands Mike and help you along the way to buying a Status! Mark
 8.
The wonderfully talented Mr Lee, finishing the ramp.
What a stunning bass!! Does the ramp stick in place with double sided tape? Mark
 9.

Very nice in black..
 10.
Please educate me on Statii as I'm possibly thinking about looking or ordering one, but they're extremely rare to find in the States.
As a Wal owner who has also bought two Status basses, the first thing you should know is the tone is very different to that of your Wals - so I assume you are looking for something which is not a Wal sound?
 11. Nothing like a fretless Wal to make the blood rush..
