  1. I've had an SR500 for about a year now and it is hands down the best bass I've ever owned.

Really light and easy to play and a load of tonal options.

I hadn't played it for a couple of gigs until last night as was blown away by the sound once again.

The only other bass that I might buy would be another one but perhaps a 5 string for something a bit different.

The best part for me was that I bought mine on this very forum for £199 delivered, bargain!

  2. ***SOLD*** Squier Precision bass in a lovely 3 tone sunburst bought from a fellow basschat member.

It's had a recent set up by the Bassdoc who also removed the Squier logo and replaced it with a 70's Precision logo.

It plays really nice and the pickups have a lot of poke for a passive guitar.

Is has a couple of small chips, one next to the bridge and one on the top edge as you down on it when strapped on but apart from that it's in good condition.

Looking for £150 or may trade for similar value jazz bass.

Collection from NE26 or meet up preferred. (Can travel down as far as Scotch Corner on the A1)

  3. Putting my Sunburst/Rosewood board Squire Precision up for sale tonight to see if I can get any bites as I own an Ibanez SR500 and would like to ad something like this to my collection. Can't praise Ibanez basses highly enough!

I've bought a precision off Tom before(and ended up selling it back to him) and he's a great guy to deal with!

  4. NOW SOLD
