SOLD This is my Cort B5 which, although not the most expensive bass out there, has to be one of the best feeling bass I've ever played. This one is in teal green and has a lovely roasted maple fingerboard. It's pretty easy on the shoulder for a 5 string at around 3.8kg. The neck is really shallow too which makes it really easy to play if you're not used to playing 5 string or flip between 4 and 5 like me. Trace Elliot Transit-B Bass Preamp If you're of a certain age like me, you'll remember Trace Elliot and their classic sound. I've had my fair share of Trace Elliot amps/cabs and combos over the years and they sound great but they are so heavy! Well if you want the sound but not the weight then this might be just the thing for you! 😀 I picked this up here in a trade with the intention of using it with in-ears but every time I turn up at a gig without my backline I get it in the neck from the rest of band who miss my amp! I'd really love to go fully amp-less but I think the whole band has to be on the same page and unfortunately they aren't prepared to do it so for the time being I'll be using my in-ears but with a backline for the rest of the band. Anyway back to the Transit B. This is a great bit of kit and sounds ace but I can't justify having it lying round the house unused, hence up she goes. Here's the spec: 5-band semi-parametric EQ. This is the second bargain priced combo that's come up for sale in this corner of the country in recent weeks. I lost out on the last one due to distance and will miss out on this for the same reason. 😭

What a bargain, even with the toneprint issue! I've had a few TC heads over the years and one of mine had the same issue. Unfortunately I never got to the bottom of it but it was never a problem for me as I didn't use the toneprint effects. If I was bit a bit closer to you I would have had this as a backup.

TC Electronics BH550 head. Comes with the TC Switch-3 pedal(worth £70 on it's own) and a TC gig bag. Really loud when paired with my RS212 cab. Yamaha APX 4A-SPL. Semi-Acoustic. Marine burst blue flamed sycamore top. Nato neck, back and sides. Cream binding. Fretboard Indian rosewood. 22 frets. 3 band EQ. I've owned this from new(over 20 years). One thing to point out is that is has got some dulling of the paintwork(mainly the dark sections around the edges) You'll see this better if you zoom in on the photo. This was caused by foolishly applying a painted pattern some time ago(not by me I might add!). This doesn't affect the playability though but maybe not for you if you want a perfect finish.
