    Is that one of the fender tb series amps? Though the tone sounds just like a jazz played well. Plenty of lower mid.

    Yep the deal has been done couple of extras on the bass, a case and the thick end of £2500. I'll pickit up on Friday. Like a small child I am.

    Yeah- would be about 3-4 yrs ago- I think I have had it for that long. When I got it it was probably the worst set up bass in the world. Now has 40s on and a very low action indeed. Amazing for slap. It was a prototype for the later models- I emailed Chris Benavente and he confirmed it- has a custom pre-amp by John Suhr and Kent Armstrongs. Sounds wonderful. Seems very high quality to me- has MOP inlays and is beatiful to play. I have a few basses on and wish that my Warwick and one of my Roadworns sells- then I will be taking this and one of the roadworns off sale. But I suppose we`ll see.
