If this was the case should I hear it rattle when I shake the whole bass? Just gave it a good shake and can't hear anything...

Doesn't seem to be neck relief as the strings don't seem to be hitting the frets to cause the rattle.

Can anyone tell me what the problem might be? When I hold the body in certain positions the rattle goes away. Bass is Fender Modern Player Jazz Bass Short Scale. PXL_20250413_133411345.mp4

For those interested. I just used Plasticote 2 in 1 paint and primer from Hobbycraft and a satin clear coat. Not the greatest job in the world but it was cheap 😅

Got a can of Plasticote (I think it's polyurethane spray paint) from Hobbycraft and a can of clear coat for less than £15 for both. Worth a punt!! Stay tuned for results 😅

Rescued an Ibanez TMB30 from my mates rehearsal room recently and have got to the point now where I'm wanting to repaint the body. I'd like to paint it this sort of colour but struggling to find any nitrocellulose paint to match this sort of colour (doesn't need to be exactly this colour and I'm not looking for a perfect finish as the bass was a freebie!!) Any recommendations would be a massive help. They only seem to do Shell pink at northwest guitars 😔

Sorry to dig up an old thread but really curious about your mods on this. Any pics? What neck did you use? Did it just slot in without any other mods? Considering pulling the trigger on one of these for the sake of £80!

I'm lugging a quite compact 4x10 Eden cab around at the mo - love the size as it's quite compact but weighs in at just shy of 30kg. I'm 41 and my back is starting to scream at me a bit - went to buy some PA speakers last week and the guy had a Markbass MB58R 102 P Bass Cab - absolutely insane how light it was and now I want to change to something lighter. Anyone have any recommendations and other brands to consider? I like a 4x10 but definitely not adverse to a 2x12. Usually like them to be 4 ohm so I only have to take one cab. But if they are super light I guess I could change my ways 👌

Hi all, I'm trying to work out how to set up a talk back mic for our drummer to use at live gigs before we start rehearsing. We all plan on using IEMs. Want it so the sound doesn't go out to audience How do I set the mixer so that the mic will only be audible through the aux sends? Thanks.
