  1. May have already sold mate. If not I'll measure it up tomorrow for you.
  2. NOW SOLD Having a clear out and I'm not cool enough for a filthy fuzz pedal Any More. I guess it's a clone of the Zvex Wooley Mammoth but never had one so can't compare. Mammoths eyes light up when on. Pick up a bargain. Postage available for £5.
  3. Taken from my FSR VM Squier Jazz Bass. Having a clear out so it's up for sale. Could probably benefit from a new nut and has a few dings in the headstock. Postage no problem but unsure how much it would cost. Any questions then feel free to ask away.
  4. You all know what these are. Has a few scratches and some wear on 2 of the saddles where I guess the strings may have slipped? Postage will be a few quid via royal mail. No screws included just the bridge. More pictures available upon request. Cheers Dave
  5. Thanks for that! I've messaged @Ashdown Engineering so will see what they say. I hope she can be saved!!
  6. So my ABM300 head crapped out on me at rehearsal last night (the power just went mid song so I suspect the power section has just blown, checked kettle lead fuses etc) Is it worth trying to get it fixed or shop around for something else? I've only ever had 2 amps (a Hartke HA3500 and the ABM300) in 10 years so don't mind trying something new but the ashdown did everything I needed it to. I like the look of the Ampeg PF 500 due to size and cost but been warmed there's some reliability issues with those? Anyone any experience? Alternatively does anyone know anyone who fixes amps around Lancashire?
  7. Just had a gander on their site. So they do short scale bass strings to suit? I've just got a VM squier mustang bass but gonna get one of these J&D as a back up/project finally now the blue is back in stock.
  8. Can't believe they discontinued it. Bad time to have a child 😑
  9. I'd certainly do that as I'm only in east Lancashire. I'm afraid I'd have to take your Capri orange mustang though!! Been after one for bloody ages!! They sound like the kind of mods I'd be wanting to do. How much do you thing it cost to upgrade?
  10. Why not pull the trigger yourself? They look brilliant bang for buck from what I've read
  11. I read somewhere they are similar size to a strat. Not sure how true that is. I'm very tempted too. Even if it's just for playing at home.
  12. Any love for these? Can't find much info on the short scales. Nearly pulled the trigger on a mustang bass but for £300 less surely these can be upgraded to a decent standard? I've got a spare gotoh bridge at home so just need some new tuners and pickups possibly? Would love to hear from someone who owns one of these mini bad boys. https://www.musicstore.de/en_GB/GBP/Jack-Danny-Bass-guitar-JB-Mini-BK-Black/art-BAS0007167-000

  20. Did this sell?
  21. I think I need to have a bit more of a play around with the pedal in rehearsal. The digitech really used to add a nice spice to my sound along with my sansamp but I understand that it's not very widely regarded as a good compressor. That's why I thought I'd give the MXR a whirl. I'm aiming for a kind of 'ampeg' kinda tone, with a bit more of a punch. I've set the compressor ratio to 4:1 and have the attack and release set to around 10 I clock and input at 10 and output at 2pm. From my understanding this should make for a tight fast compression? Yeah gear being stolen sucks, certainly learnt my lesson anyway by not having insurance.
  22. I will try and keep this as short and to th point as possible... I had my pedal board stolen about 2 months ago, which was a total sh*tt*r. I've since rebuit a board with some 'upgrades'. On my old board I had a digitech bass squeeze, I really liked this pedal. It kinda gave me a nice rounded dirty grindy sound when I played with a pick. I've since bought the MXR compression on a Recomendation and am really struggling getting the right settings for it, where am I going wrong? I play generally rock style music pretty much with a pick all the time. Cheers
  23. That's really interesting. I was actually asking about the financial reprecutions last night. Thanks for that.
