1.
Have to say mate, that modded FX25 sounds brilliant!!
Yeah, I like it ... if I take the plunge and get one I may get back to you for details of the mod if that's alright.
 2. These two are both called power supplies, but I'm fairly sure that they're both merely isolation units providing many 9V outs, for a single 9V in, from another power supply that's bigger than the unit pictured (and may or may not be included). If it's isolation you want, these may be part of the answer. 3. ... then check these (eBay search): http://is.gd/4U6y1h Obviously very, very, similar to Mooer designs (if you asked me to guess, I'd say they might come from the same factory). Also, half the price and often with a 'Make Offer' listing so they could go cheaper, possibly.
 4. Like. Muchly.
 5.
Playing with Hereford Soul Choir at one of the festivals we did last weekend:
Very cool looking bass.
 6.
I've been listening to this band a lot lately, not sure they've been mentioned before:
Awesome stuff
 7. I like what I see added here since I last visited. Without deliberately trying I seem to have acquired a few black ones, but they look so cool I think it may become a trend. Here goes .... Status Shark: Lakland 55-02 BSX Allegro Apologies for crap phone photos.
 8.
one of Clarky's Fretless beauties The beauty with its owner Clarky playing Jack's Status
I do regret missing these two basses ... hope they make it to the next bash
 9. Sounds like I'm going to miss some fine basses ..... hope to catch you all at the next one.
 10.
Nooooooooo
Yessssssssssss. I've done a few cheesy numbers at weddings, come on ......

 12.
Agreed but it needs a black/ebony fret board to finish it.
Concur. The fingerboard would of course be fretless with no lines. Tape wound Labellas to finish it off nicely.

 15.
I don't remember if i posted mine here so here it is (again?): Sandberg California VM-5, tobacco burst / black PG / vintage tinted maple neck:
I'm pretty sure I remember seeing that before (VM-5's are not common) but I don't mind seeing it again
 16. Yes, the video demos sound awful to me, the reviews I've heard here and on TB sound pretty bad, and I tried them (pitch box and pure octave) at the bass guitar show, under admittedly challenging conditions, and they sounded really not good. I can't see myself buying one.
 17.
The bod looks huge on your board!
Yeah, wish I had an octave in the 1590A format, then I could squeeze in the Green Mile too.
 18. Latest incarnation of the nano:
 19. I would really like this one but I counted my basses last night .... I don't think I can justify another till I get rid of at least one.
 20.
after my jazz trio has split up last week, I spent the whole day with finding/programming sounds on the different boards/pedals and figuring out how to use bass (and bass synth), guitar and vox to work with the looper for my next bandproject where we will be 2 guitarists/bassplayers sharing jobs and a drummer, playing some urban grooverock. man, still a long way to go!
Sounds really interesting ... Would like to hear the end result, or even rough mixes or rehearsal 'tapes'.
 21.
Bargain alert!! I have one of these and they are crazy !!
Very good envelope filter in these too (mode 10). Has been described as a 'sleeper'. Worth £35 for that alone.
 22.
You'd think, I now have two nano's really need to just stick with a PT jr or One was always my favourite board size, modular just means infinately expandable to me terrible thing.
Heheh .... I started buying small pedals and nano because of restricted room on stage .... now I have a full nano and a PT mini for the overflow of small pedals I can't get on the nano :/ I expect I'll take both to the Herts bass bash.
 23.
Excellent for its size, the controls are a bit counter intuitive. One increases 800hz up to 20db and the other is some kind of weird passive tone. A little weird to control. Not too good at low gain settings. Sounds like the BB preamp but in darker tones wont sound like a muff like the bb. I wanted another bb or similar but tHis sounds tHe same at high gain, and is smaller and only cost me 70 quid new.
Hmmm ... sounds like one I'll need to audition in person. Thanks
 24.
Messing around with this setup, maybe a few more additions to be made, but finally got a nice drive under a clean blend I like.
How are you finding that Markbass distortion ?
 25.
Heh heh, well maybe if there's a bash coming up before they are released, then I'll bring it along! I can't say that I'll be giving it up any time soon!
Mid Herts/North London Bash ?
