1. Sorry I’ve just seen this. For some reason I don’t get notification. the board has a series of different settings you can adjust with a screw driver, which I assume effected the 5 way switch. i never experimented with there’s and only used on of the settings on the 5 way switch. to be totally transparent the unit wasn’t quite for me because of all the options. I’m not that techie these days! That’s not to say it isn’t a great option. I needed something simpler…. I’ve chosen the same pre as my other basses for consistency… hence the sale. i can take pictures of the dip switches.. if people are seriously interested.
2. It's not for me... BUT, it's unquestionably a great innovative piece of kit!
3. Here's a incredible Audere Preamp which you can retro fit into a Jazz Bass. Comes mounted on a jazz bass chrome plate. You can take the knobs off the plate for rear routed instruments. Has a phenomenal selection of tones. Have a read about how it works here - it's quite clever! https://www.audereaudio.com/pro-jz3d-vb-2b-chrome.html Controls: Volume Blend Stacked Trebel and Bass 5 way selector switch. Doesn't look like Audere ship to the uk, so this quite a rare beast. £120 + £8.95 for special delivery to make sure it gets to you. Cheers James
4. Thank you so much Funkshui!! Very appreciated...
5.
Is this the same questionnaire as the last one?
Yes - just trying to get more thoughts. So don't worry if you've already done it. This is the most valuable stuff in the world... so i'm extremely grateful :-)
6. Thank you very much indeed! :-) James
7. Hey, A few weeks ago I put a post up here asking for some thoughts on the world of online bass lessons. Had an amazing response and i'm really knocked with what a passionate community of bass players you guys are... so thank you so much. I'd love to get more responses - what you say is incredibly interesting . So if you've got a couple of minutes I'd love it if you could fill in this very quick questionnaire... https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeX1y1VJEhwWl1m_c1XRBX1hl9Ni1AkjGBbJuFmHA5YcbSPpw/viewform Thank you so much - this is really appreciated! Cheers James
8. Cheers Guys - Please keep them coming - so awesome!!
9.
Done.
Thank you!!! :-)
10. Thank you all for sharing your thoughts.... this is really making me think hard (it good way!!) Please keep them coming! Thank you again James
11.
Done, but I dont think I fit your demographic to well!
Hi Ivan, That's cool - the more I know where people are at the better. Your feedback has really helped! Thank you! James
12.
Done. But you say you won't share the email address, but then you DO!! It's in the screen to see all the previous answers.
I've literally just had a message about that. I had NO idea there was a setting that allowed the data to be viewed. I'm really annoyed with google forms and feeling like writing them a really s**ty email. The box that controls that setting should be off by default in the interests of security. I'm irritated to say the least. By sharing, I meant it wouldn't be sold to any 3rd parties or anything like. I've had the form filled in many times now and i'm surprised it hasn't come up before. This info in there is really valuable and massively appreciated... Here's the new improved form (!) 13. Hey Guys... Massive, massive thank you for filling in the questionnaire. This really good stuff and i'm extremely grateful. I'd love to get as many responses as possible. This is THE most valuable stuff for building bass lessons that are really relevant. Thank you again. James James Eager :-)
