Hi, I'm David and I've been playing bass (Ibanez SR300L) for a a couple of months, the amp is a Marshall MB/B series30. My other musical interests are keyboards, which I've been playing since I was about seven years old and guitar, which I first started to play when I was about thirteen but only really took it up seriously last year when I discovered that at long last there were books for left handed players and chord charts now put fingering on them. My musical interests range from Blues to Rock to Experimental. I keep meaning to start composing my own music, I've got all the gear (sometimes I think I live in a music shop!) so I'm going to make the effort this year and get down to it. My favorite bands are Pink Floyd, Yes and Dream Theater but I listen to a wide range of music, (Beatles, Stones, Santana, Who, Frank Zappa, Animals as Leaders, BB King, Kenny Wayne Shepherd to modern 'serious' composers; guys like John Adams who knows how to use amplified or electronic instruments. My favorite bass player? it's got to be Jack Bruce.
