[b]NEW PRICE: £490. I have over £600 invested this bass, but I need to sell it soon so there it qoes.[/b] This beauty was made in 1977 in famous Matsumoku factory in Japan. It has been in my possession for the last 4 years. It was in really bad shape when I got it, so I lovingly brought it back to life. This is the list of things that have been done in course of years: - professional re-fret - Nordstrand NJ4 single coil pickups - Hipshot A-style brass bridge - replacement tuners from CIJ Fender jazz - threaded inserts for neck/body connection - neck will never shift - CTS & Bourns 250k pots - bone nut - 2x9V battery box in the back of the body - ready for any active electronics - copper foil shielding Action is low and can go much lower without fret buzz. Fret job was really good. Truss rod is fully functional with a lot more room for adjustment; it moves smoothly and neck is super stable. It intonates perfectly and is in perfect working order. I re-stringed it with new strings yesterday. Body is made of 2 pieces of [s]alder[/s] ash. On the bad side, it was played a lot and it shows. There are numerous dings and scratches, but that is expected for almost 40 years old instrument. I thought about having it refinished, but I like it the way it is now. This was my number 1 bass for 2 years, but I have been playing my 5 string more and more, so it doesn't see much action anymore. I accept Paypal or bank transfer. Bump with new pictures! As you can see in couple of the pictures, there is an extra hole drilled - that's because active/passive switch didn't fit in the first hole.

This is completely pre-wired unit ready to be installed into a jazz bass. You only need to solder pickup wires, grounding and battery. Plate has an extra hole drilled, but it never bugged me. [s]It is currently installed in my jazz bass, but I will remove it during the next few days (or sooner, if it sells)[/s]. The configuration is: - stacked vol/vol - stacked bass/treble - push/pull mid (400/800Hz) - active/passive switch All components used are of highest quality and you can see that the wiring is a pro job. Anyone who tried to wire OBP-3 surely knows that this is not an easy task . What I particularly love about volume pots is that they don't go from 100% to 10% with slightest turn, like a lot of pots do - these move in a very linear fashion so you can fine-tune your volume levels. And as a bonus - since there is no passive tone control (although you can install one), I often use the volume pots to roll-off some high end and that sounds more natural than rolling the highs off using the treble control. UPDATE: Price dropped to [b]£70[/b], shipping to Europe included I have almost new AMT WH-1B bass wah for sale that was bought new from Thomann a few months ago. This is a wonderful little wah that sounds better than Dunlop 105Q and it will fit every pedalboard. I'm only selling it because I bought EBS Stanley Clarke wah recently. It comes with original box. For the record, this wah doesn't have a problem with "pop" every tome the switch is engaged, that some of AMT wahs do have. Price includes shipping to Europe. I accept PayPal or bank transfer.
