Thanks! I'll use the WA87 to mic the cab, and see if the other condenser (the cheap one) can pick up anything useful as a room mic.

Thanks Dad - Correct. Cheers for the tips, I'll give that a go later this week and also see (hear) if there is a difference between micing the upper or lower speaker - I'm guessing the lower will have more lows due to being closer to this floor. Much appreciated, I'll post the results!

That was my very first bass shop experience as a young teen 32 years ago. After being handed the slapped bass, I think I played each open string slowly twice whilst wishing the earth would open. What USB mixer do you have? Less ability to process each instrument, but probably the option requiring the least Windows shenanigans...

Sure, as long as each is recognised by the PC as an audio-capable interface, then it should just be a case of connecting them all and then selecting the appropriate interface for each track. Our local quoted a mate's teeenage son £90 to change the nut and add a D string to his super-budget no-name bass... I did it for £5 including parts and setup! No surprise that it's now closed...

Apologies, I completely missed your question! CS: 43mm, 9.5" radius, oval C Limelight: 41mm, 9.5" radius, and what I think is a 'U' shape - certainly fuller in the hand, but still very playable given the smaller nut and lovely rolled edges.

Old Fender Rumble 150 that I painted surf green and added a top handle to. Cost me £100, the volume pot is shot and not too easy to replace so I just play through the effects return with a Tech21 VT. Has been my rehearsal and pubs amp for years, even used with a low pass filter as a kick drum amp a few times, love it to bits
