2. Just in case it helps, I was the original owner who specced it from Sandberg (via Bassdirect) and then sold it to Ash: original sales thread here has some pics inline from the time it was sold. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/238324-sold-sandberg-california-vs-p-bass-klopmann-pb63-pups-gold-hardware-now-l650/page__p__2490416__hl__california%20vs__fromsearch__1#entry2490416 Terrific growl from those Klopmanns! And a very easy transaction with Ash, deal with confidence
3. Was just having a lunchtime browse for '62 precisions, and spotted this original: More gorgeous pics here: http://johnkvintageguitars.homestead.com/1962Precision.html Sadly not for sale otherwise I would be swimming the Atlantic as we speak...
4. Eek, highly tempted to have a dark board partner for my sonic blue maple limelight P! Scott Devine has featured (and praised) his Moollon P on videos recently, e.g. https://youtu.be/YarWwi7gRqI GLWTS!
5. I'd LOVE to see the state of the case.
6.
Ok now?
Great, thanks! Love those clay dots and the rich red...in fact maybe you'ld better make the album private again
7. Hi Tonci, please can you check the Flickr album permissions - looks like it is set to 'Private'. Cheers
8.
Newmoon are very reasonable, and very personal. I've been with them years now, but I've never had to claim, but I have confidence in them thanks to their reputation.
Same here. One general problem is remembering to update insurance when GAS strikes!
9. Pm'd
10.
Top work both with the review and the the playing videos.
Yep terrific review and love those funky tracks! Used my Noble on band recording a couple of weeks ago, very pleased with the results and will post once ready. In-ears should be super-clear with the Noble, very tempted...
11. I bought Frank's Behringer class D power amp: bargain price, great bit of kit, and Frank was very helpful and communicative throughout, highly recommended and a credit to basschat. Thanks Frank!
12. Sold my Fender Bassman to Dan, who was brilliant throughout - fast payment, fast communications and a credit to Basschat! Cheers Dan!
13. Now sold, thanks for all the interest and kind comments
14. Great, glad to hear it
15. Dave bought my Boss flanger, fast payment and an easy and friendly transaction - cheers Dave!
16. For sale (no trades, sorry ): Orange TB500 Bass Terror History Purchased from a fellow BCer about 6 months ago, gigged once and easily did the job of filling a village hall of about 100 people. Condition Full working order. Cosmetically almost as new, there is a tiny scratch between the words POWER and VOLUME on the faceplate which you can see in the photo. Couple more pics here: https://www.flickr.c...th/30432213253/ Comes with Original Orange bag, original box, power lead, plus I'll add a Speakon and a lovely ECC83/5751-PHILIPS (Philips ECG JAN) which lowers the notoriously high gain to more flexible levels. Of course, if you want notoriously high gain, just pop the original V1 valve back in Selling because Would love to keep it as backup, but recent purchases have meant that's not an option UK buyers only, courier is included in cost. Or you can collect, I am in Tonbridge, Kent, approx 15 mins from J5 M25.
17. I have Raynaud's on 3 fingers and wear these: http://www.healthandcare.co.uk/raynauds-disease-and-raynauds-syndrome/raynauds-disease-silver-gloves.html Work a treat, have played five-a-side in the freezing cold and they are a real improvement. Wear them on the way to gig/practice and then you should hopefully find the Raynaud's has not taken hold before you start playing. Good luck!
18. Love those vintage colours, glad to hear it's a player too! Bright colours also sound better if you wear a plain black or white shirt when gigging
19.
Is that a C neck profile?
Afraid to say I don't know!! Just right for my hand though, not a baseball bat but a meaty grip.
How are you finding the pickups? I asked Mark to wind me some 60's Vintage for my Bitsa and I love them!
Love 'em, chunky with a classy edge. In fact you can hear them here: https://soundcloud.c...le-preamp-clips
