  1. Yep, the socket ring to the pub went three times - I didn't get a chance to get the details from the landlord but can only assume we tripped the fuse. We were daisy chaining adapter boards - power amp and mixer of one wall socket, bass stack and 12v PSU, guitar stack and effects, two powered monitors off another. Any advice on ways to minimise the chance of this happening in future...?

    Cheers

Age: owned from new since 10th April 2013. Includes original Sandberg booklet.

Condition: excellent, no real dings, all I can find is a red smudge and nick on top of the headstock (see pic). Pickups and electronics work perfectly. Neck and neck pocket are perfect from my perspective - truss rod and bridge are very good on these.

Payment and postage: I will courier at cost and will package carefully. Payment via bank transfer please. Sorry but no trades this time. My feedback thread is in my signature.

Sound: This is a very good video from another VS with Klopmann pickups, sounds the same as mine (although the playing is better!):

You can also hear it live in action on my Soundcloud feed:

    Thanks for looking!

**edit** there is a small nick on the headstock top edge, just about visible in the close up pic

  3. M@23, sorry forgot to upload my settings! Here they are:

The method I used to get there was watching the 'comp' light during a bassline which starts with a loud G on the E string, then a fiddly pull-off and hammer-on involving the D and A strings. Basically the hammer-on in particular was being overwhelmed, so I twiddled the threshold to make sure that the initial G was well compressed and the hammer-on not at all. Sounds much clearer now! Good luck with the gig - one other quirk is that the compressor light is VERY bright on a dark stage, so I sometimes put a bit of foam over it.
