I've had this pedal for about 4 years now, always enjoyed using it. One thing that niggled me was the slight delay from engagement and disengagement of the pedal. On a whim yesterday I googled this issue and discovered that there is a small wheel inside the pedal, which when turned clockwise all the way, removes the delay. I was sceptical, but gave it a go. Surprising it worked. Not only has the delay gone, but I feel kinda chuffed with myself, wish I hadn't waited so long. I am a bit surprised that the pedal ships with a delay and includes no instructions to amend.

I'm looking forward to this album. Although the recent Meshuggah and Dillinger Escape plan releases have set a benchmark for my ears and Gojira's release earlier this year is still getting heavy play on my morning runs.

It was The Sisters of Mercy for me at 16.

I read this thread with interest, as when I started on five strings I was a bit underwhelmed by the B string, subsequently, I have started plucking the B string with my thumb resting on the bridge pick up rather than the neck pick up which is my usual anchor point. It might just be me, but I find this gives the string a better feel and allow me to dig in that little bit more without flop.

Not my kind of music at all, but I've got to say I really got into it. The video was clever and I think someone else on here mentioned a Verve vibe - which I agree with.

She Sells Sanctuary was one of the first bass lines I learned many many years ago. In fact knowing that and Rain got me a slot in my first band. You should be stoked with your progress....keep at it!

The neck is wide but slim and comfortable. Sound and build quality excellent for the price, especially if you don't want to invest too much cash in your first fiver. This has become my go to bass lately over the Fender 5er that I have.

Last gig I went to was Slayer supported by Anthrax. Both bands were amazing. Slayer were, basically Slayer but their new guitarist Gary Holt exceeded himself with his energy and chops. I also liked his Kill The Kardashians T-Shirt. Anthrax were also pretty good, Frank Bello gave a masterclass in metal bass playing - energy, presence and thumping fingerstyle goodness. All in all a top night out. Even Mrs Kendall enjoyed the gig, despite being more of a soul girl than a rock chick!

I have an Ashdown Chorus Plus. It's nothing special, looks better than it sounds. Just started using the chorus effect on a Peavey Vypyr VIP and it's much better.
