    Bought this a couple of months ago from Truckstop for £100 plus £20 to deliver (...plus a cup of tea and a biscuit to keep Truckstop happy). Saw one went on feeBay for £165 few weks ago - I'm happy to get what I paid....or maybe trade for someone's old/interesting but unused bass? I'm curious. What's out there? It did me fine cos I'm just starting with bass guitar and needed urgent amplification! New amp ordered, so this something-of-a-cult desirable amp can move on. Everything works - it goes down to 2 Ohms so there is great potential for 700 noisy watts here. [attachment=103372:IMG_0495.JPG] Prefer if someone can collect from Clapham in south London.I can sort out couriers if needs be - it's heavy though, about 23k, so is going to cost.

    Alex safely delivered the Peavey Firebass 700 I bought from him. We drank a cup of tea together and Alex enjoyed a biscuit. It was rather nice doing business, sir. Cheers, J

    Is there any logic to this - people will want to downgrade to the new B500 and sell their GT200 ..... to me! Or is this just wishful thinking?

    Discreet, Exactly. Stick it in a bag and it's an easy to carry spare. Might not be out of this world - but sounds better than nothing! It's a big discount so I'm guessing they're discontinued?
