  4. Ultra rare MG Space City Echo, analog, handmade in Brazil. In excellent condition and perfect working order. Selling as sizing down on equipment. Comes with original box. £400 including postage. From MG's website: http://www.mgmusic.com.br/produtos/space-city/ The Literature :- We have already talked about the characteristics of analog delay, how it sounds musical, organic and easier to adapt to different sonorities. We've also talked about That's Echo Folks with the feedback layers. But what if we add all this to an analog chorus / vibrato in the modulations, put another delay on top of everything and leave it all deeper? That's why Space City is a unique, exclusive pedal used by different audio professionals - not just guitarists - in the world. Our inspiration? The famous and excellent music producer Brian Eno. Who taught The Edge what the delay is for. That is, Space City is a The Edge with acid. The MN3205 chips are still here to create the warm, organic repetition of analog delay. But now there are two delays. Connected online (usually for guitar pedals in live shows) or in parallel (for stereo recordings, keyboard players). When in mono, Space City creates layers of delay, two different tempos, giving presence in the short repetitions and depth in the long repetitions. When in stereo, Space City creates ambiance and 3d effects, typical of similar repetitions. However, because they are analog, they will hardly be the same delay time. The feedback knob is push-pull, that is, you can choose between feedback 1 and feedback 2 (like that's Echo Folks, but instead of being a switch, it's the knobs themselves). In feedback 2, active by push-pull, the feedback doubles, creating more depth for the effect. In addition to delays, you can control Space City's chorus / vibrato. There are three controls, SPEED, DEPTH and CHORUS DELAY TIME. With specific settings added to the CHORUS DELAY TIME with feedback 2 of the delay, you get science fiction effects from the 50's, or timbres very similar to Brian Eno's MUSIC FOR AIRPLANES (our inspiration!). The SPEED and the chorus / vibrato DEPTH are the traditional ones of our STEREOVIBE, controlling the intensity and depth of the chorus / vibrato. The chorus / vibrato can be active only on one channel or simultaneously on both channels. In stereo, this chorus / vibrato effect can give the famous 3D dimension to the effect. In mono, it creates depth and intensity, added to the delay. The pedal switches are 4: MASTER - turns the entire effect on and off. CHORUS 1 - active channel 1 chorus / vibrato CHORUS 2 - activates channel 2 chorus / vibrato (note that the chorus / vibrato effect is independent per channel) DELAY TIME 1/2 - changes the delay time of the left channel of the standard knob to a knob at the top of the pedal, to construct effects similar to the pig's tail of That Echo Folks, but in a much more comfortable way, of course. In short, this pedal is a separate instrument. Classy and poisonous. Perfect for guitar players looking for new effects, different from those on the market. Come visit us and get to know Space City!

  7. Was Looking for an EMG ABCX balance pot which I placed in 'Items Wanted'. Didn't think anybody would be likely to have one to sell, but lo and behold Jez came to the rescue having one he didn't need. Top bloke to deal with and delivery was very quick. Highly recommended Thanks again Jez
  8. Hi Jon I had the same dilemma when I had the EBS TD650 Likewise, running it through 2 barefaced BB2's. I subsequently acquired 2 Barfaced 2X10 cabs each 4 ohms so effective 2 ohms when used together . Obviously the BB2 and the 2X10 have different sound characteristics, but in terms of output with the same settings on the amp I would say there was no noticeable increased output when using the 2 2x10 cabs {effective 2 ohms].
  9. Where are you based ??? Are you willing to send by courier/post ??

  16. Difficult to gauge a fair value on this, so reduced to £350
  17. Bought the body + control plate together many years ago for a project that never materialised. Have been meaning to put it to use but can't see myself ever getting round to it. The body isn't perfect and as far as I can see seems to have been refinished. Looks like it was originally white. the pics will give a better idea. It's not the best refinish. There's general crazing to the finish and a line of superficial drill marks on the back ??? The body however is structurally sound with no obvious signs of splitting. The neck pocket seems to have been adjusted with minor routing at the end to lengthen it. Not the tidiest of jobs. The markings in the neck pocket are not ever so clear. I can see numbers 264 plus the obvious 'peach ! ' There are some letters R E possibly another R ?? The body weighs 2.5 Kg The pots look original although on the V V pots the solder looks quite messy. As far as I'm aware the control plate is original as is the jack socket. The pot numbers are :- 1377618 1377625 1377618 These pots have NOT BEEN TESTED !!!! although if there were any problems I would quite happily refund within a reasonable amount of time. Not keen to split and would much prefer to sell together as both belonged to the same bass Happy to post at buyers expense Close inspection more than welcome Ask any questions
