Like I said it's the stock S3 from the Status website. I don't have any documentation but I've spoken to Dawn and I'm sure she'll vouch for its originality. It's also very clear from the grain of the walnut top that it's the same one from the Slipknot photos and videos. I'm a member on Statii.com but it's not on there at the moment.

Reduced to £2500 firm. First of all, this is a very, very reluctant sale but unfortunately my current situation dictates that it must go. This bass is ex Slipknot. I got it in person from Alex 'Vman' Venturella last year. It was his main touring bass for some time and there are numerous pictures of him playing it on the internet. There is also a live Slipknot DVD where it is played. It is also the very same S3 that greets you when you click on the 'S3' link on the Status-Graphite page. Vman swapped out the tuners for Hipshot Ultralites but I was not given the originals. Given that Vman was guitar tech for Slipknot before he was their bass player I trusted that he had done a good job and he has indeed. The Hipshots use the same mounting screw position so you could put Status tuners back on without any problems. No additional holes were drilled. There are a couple of battlescars, all inflicted on the road with Slipknot, none of them were my doing. There is a chip on the front of the headstock, two small dings on the very top of the headstock, some light scratches on the back and a three surface dings in the lacquer on the top of the body (see pics). The bass has 3-band EQ and is fitted with blue wraparound LEDs. It comes with the original Hiscox hard case. It has gold Schaller straplocks fitted. It has 19mm string spacing and a 34" neck. Alex got this directly from Rob at Status so I am only the 2nd owner. Due to the value of the bass, I'm not willing to post it but can meet in either Southampton, Portsmouth or Lymington. [b]1998 Warwick Streamer Pro M - [/b]bought from Bassulike66 a few months back. In case you aren't aware, it has two jazz pickups side by side. The range of tones from this bass is exceptional, and of course it has the Musicman-esque sound too with the pickup blend set dead-centre. Flamed maple body (brighter than most Warwicks) and a Wenge neck make this an absolute beast of a bass. Doesn't have the d-tuner anymore but still in the same condition as when I bought it. Comes with straplocks and a Warwick padded gigbag. Best playing Warwick I have ever had. Lack of funds forces sale, sadly. £400 shipped - payment MUST be by transfer to my bank account though.

1998 Thumb Bolt-On with Ovangkol body & Wenge fretboard. Excellent condition for age, just a few light marks (shown in pics). Truss rod all good, no fretwear. Body is slightly darker than it appears in the pics but the figuring of the wood is just beautiful. Usual stuff -2 band active MEC with active/passive push/pull, recessed straplocks. All original.
