    I use Vanderklay cabs,I still use the MB but reason I’m selling is I’m going on to the supr light GA cabs from bass direct,getting a 2-12 and a 1-12,the 2-12 weighs in at 12 kgs and the 1-12 is only 7 kgs,can only have so much gear

    Markbass 604 600w 8 ohm 6-4 cab,another rare beast in mint condition still has the sticker on it as it’s had minimal use

    As the title says a very rare New York 804 cab,serious power and clarity 800 W 8 ohms takes up less room than yer average 4-10 but still delivers comes with a new rocksolid cover

    I stacked my Markbass 2-10 and 8-4 yes you read it right very rare mb cab last week and prefer it that way,probably going to sell both as bass direct have some 2-12 cabs that weigh 12 kgs,not cheap though

    I allways turn my bass down if everything is to loud then when the guitarist say they can’t hear the bass I just say that’s because you are to loud if they don’t turn down then I turn the bass down even more,I know wot I’m playing and I use ear plugs,I always use separates as they work out lighter and easier to put in the boot of the car,plenty of good sugestions there

    I’ve had em all,combos are heavy so allways ruled them out,TC heads are worth a look,ive got one they have effects built in just download onto your phone and you have any sound you want,I would recommend Galien Kruger fusion as stated ,light and they do the lot,cab wise the light cabs out there are the markbass,Bareface Vanderklay ect and the bespoke cabs,look at Bass direct up in the midlands,that’ll give you some idea Im running a Galien Kruger 800 fusion with two 2-10 cabs and it sounds the nuts,the next two weekends I’ve got two outdoor gigs so I’ll be using my Trace elliot 350 smx cos it looks the nuts and sounds the nuts but it’s 30 years old and weighs quite a bit but blows pretty much anything away

    Anyone considering this should just get it,I sometimes use just this cab and the guitarists use the obligatory Marshall 4-12 s,it blows em away

    Yeah it sounds the nuts,reminds me of my old Trace Elliot days,I’m doing the east England Harley bash in July and the Trace is coming out to play for that one,them GK heads are well good and light

    I run one of these with the 2-10 mnt which is a meer 600 watts mated to a Galien Kruger 800 fusion,they are that good that they are scary

    Got mine on E bay at the mo they are a serious bit of kit,got mine new at a cost of £14000 many moons ago,regularly serviced,im having a clearout so all stuff that’s not used is going but not bothered if I don’t sell mine,you’ll regret selling it just as I will,glwts

    I got one of these and the other 2-10 which sits on top,bloody awesome,I’ve had trace , Ampeg ect and these are the nuts

    Just had a guy take away a bit of bass gear,up to £280 so far,just letting go wot I don’t use bit gutted really as all my gear is top notch stuff but it’s not getting used, Still waiting on PayPal for the money for the fusion head so I can invest in more gear ha ha

    Yeah last of the Trace heads before they got brought out,still use mine sometimes,thinking of selling it,it’s mint condition so might get £500 for it,always got complimented on my sound with that head

    I’ve still got my Trace smx ,had it about thirty years,still looks and sounds as good as anything out there,I use it if I’m doing a big gig as the UV light sets it off

    Too much weight to lug around especially as you can get the same or better sound out of some of the small Amos that are now on the market

    I think that is one of the reasons yeah also I think a lot of people have said Bollox to it and can’t be bothered anymore and on the one side if the coin are thinking there just ain’t gonner be the pub gigs that there was,There will be some serious bargains coming up as people have lost their jobs also
