I’ve got the 1200 watt 8 ohm and the smaller one both awesome and a bit overkill but you can never have too much power it’s a case of knowing how to use it but I must say I’m super impressed with the GK fusion 800,not far of my 30 year old Trace Elliot that I still use
GK fusion 800 w into two Vanderkley 2-10 s not saying anything but awesome and I’ve had pretty much most that’s out there so selling my Markbass cabs, sadly, as no room in doors
Gigging rock covers band looking for a new drummer,we cover whitesnake,Rush,ac,Zep,Purple,Skin, But allways yer usual numbers that most bands out there play,we are based Essex/Herts have about 28 gigs to cover this year
Also we done a soundcheck last time I used them, although I had ear plugs in I noticed they didn’t throw the sound as good as my Markbass rig to which I’m thinking of selling one of the cabs if interested, like new 4-10 800 watts,it was in a big venue so it made me think that they are better suited to small venues,I was using my Galien Kruger 800 w fusion head at the time ,still can’t work out how they can be as good as a cab that doesn’t have speakers in front of each other
Got two of these and I use one of em just as much as any of my Status basses when gigging,As good as anything out there,I got my first one in the USA as they are hard to come by over here,I’ll have to wait for another to come up
They did just need a bass player, now it looks like half the band have gone, they plan to do all the same stuff as every other covers band out there and want to rehearse every week,Cant see the point rehearsing stuff I already know, maybe I’m a different standard.T-bay has a good point
Just got back from the gig, great night, second gig with Black dog, first time up this pub everyone loved the band and wot can I say about my AH350 SMX,it sounds the nuts even with the Markbass cabs which are 4x10 and 2x10 800 Watts each cab, think I’ll sell my Markbass Head ,
I’m using my smx350 tonight with my Markbass cabs, first time I’ve used it for a year and never mated it up with the Markbass cabs but I just know it will sound the nuts
I sold my Trace cabs a good few years ago,I replaced with 2 2x10 Hughes +kettner cabs which were light and I still had that trace sound,I now run two Markbass cabs a4x10 and a 2x10 with an 800 watt Markbass Head, still not the Trace sound I allways got so on Saturday I will be using my Trace eliot ah350 smx with the Markbass cabs,I’ve tried it with my MB ninja 2x12 and it sounds awesome
Hi Frank i have plenty of experiance and can do the dates you require,i dont need to rehearse but dont mind if i have to,just love playing,i play,5,6 string and fretless, run an ampeg, trace elliot or eden rig,i live near stanstead airport,Paul
