I've now received an email confirming that my ticket purchase cost has been refunded to me. It's still extremely annoying though that I'm out the travel and hotel cost. It would be good if Janek Gwizdala and Ian Allison manage to arrange a get together for the Sunday.

That's the email just arrived from the organisers, informing me of the event cancellation (postponement). They're offering two options: 1 - rolling your ticket over to a possible planned event in 2026. Or, 2 - refund of the ticket cost. Needless to say, I've requested a refund!

Here we are, the afternoon after it was announced that the event had been cancelled (or "postponed"), and I've still received no notification from the organisers regarding this. Hopefully they'll be in touch soon regarding the refund of my £47 ticket. Even if that comes through, I'll still be out of pocket by around £350 for the train travel and hotel cost that I've paid out.
