6. Pics would be nice--any interest in a trade for a Warwick Fortress 4 string?
7. Nice looking bass--never heard of this model before--dont suppose youre interested in trade--I have a nice Warwick Fortress One 4 String in burgundy stain with new set of Thomastik Powerbass strings fitted.
8. Lovely bass--dealt with Dr J before and hes a gent. Good luck with sale.

10. PM sent
11. Ah....very nice--Ive a G&L L2000 4 string in same colour/neck---range of tones and playability are second to none--- trying to offload a Warwick Corvette $$ to raise funds.
12.
swee new thread to g and l pics
Where?
13. The necks are a different feel to standard basses but I like it. The tones are very versatile on a double buck and it feels heavier than other Warwicks Ive tried--Ive a five string and I find the spacing very comfortable.
14. If I can sell the Warwick Ill be back---good luck with sale its a great bass
15. Thats a beauty--Ive a L2000 in black but thats the nicest G&L ive seen yet----Id have snapped it up but just got a Lakland 55-02----dont suppose youre interested in a Warwick Corvette Double Buck as a trade?

Sold

Got any more pics?--the neck looks a funny colour in the pic provided.
17. Ive got a Sting Tele Bass reissue with a Bad Ass III which has what I took to be a precision cover on it---it doesnt cover the Bad Ass completely but looks ok --fraid mine came like this and was screwed in but I like it. Couldnt get to grips with p/up cover so Im left with two ugly screw holes.
18. The shop prices in Dublin are just too high to justify---and despite the claim that you get after sales service etc to cover higher price in reality you dont. Ive bought thru private ads either over here or on Basschat without any problems. I think most popular makes such as Musicman,Warwick etc have a very high quality standard and you wont go far wrong ordering blind--however Fender sometimes vary greatly.
19. Sounds nice--on some songs could do with pushing bass further up front --its a bit muddy. Nice songs-well done.
20. Just noticed on badasbassplayers.com site that Wymore are no longer making basses/guitars--they had another few left which were tele copies and looked very nice.
21. Theres something about tele basses I like--its a lot heavier than the Sting reissue and has a much punchier tone--maybe cause the Sting has flatwounds. The neck is very thin compared to any other teles--I like it a lot.
22. Some pics of Black Rose
23. Ive got a Fender 51 Sting reissue and it came with a standard P/Up cover which I cant get on with--it just seems to cover the area you pick at and with it on it forces you to play either forward or back of the p/up. I took it off but cant say I like the holes left behind. It looks nice on but for me is just impractical.
