  1. Christmas price drop to £850 🎄😀
  2. Price dropped a bit to £950 with fender soft case, £1050 with fender vintage style hardcase (as pictured) Make me an offer if you're interested.
  3. 🤣 You're right Paul... if my Jupiter 6 sells first then this is saved!
  4. Thanks David, I agree! Offers considered 🎅🏼 👀
  5. Fender JV Squier 62 Precision (made in Japan early 80s) £850 with fender soft case £900 with fender vintage style hardcase (as pictured) Collection preferred - cash in a brown paper bag. Courier possible, or preferably meet up within 75 miles of KT2. Demo any time - it lives in my smoke free studio. This is a fantastic bass, only a couple of small dings to the body and general very minor scuffs & bumps - see pics - and has a great vintage authentically worn mojo. I have not had the neck off so not sure of the year - 82/83 I expect. 3.85kg (8lb 8oz). Reverse tuners, threaded saddles with slotted grub screws, strap button on rear of headstock. The neck is great, much better players than me have remarked how well it plays and I think you really need to play it to appreciate it, so please drop in (PM me to arrange). All original apart from frets and jack socket -refretted at Charlie Chandler's Guitar Experience a couple of years ago at huge expense but they did do a top notch job Strung with DR Sunbeams 095 Treat yourself, it's Christmas 🎄 and Santa can't fit it down your chimney Questions fire away!
  6. £80 for one, £150 for the pair Selling some plugins, simple license transfer, I’ve bought the Arturia Collection so these previously purchased individually are for sale: Arturia CMI V (fairlight) https://www.arturia.com/products/cmi-v/overview Arturia Synclaviar https://www.arturia.com/synclavier-v/overview cost new currently €149 (each) looking for £80 each or £150 for the pair. Both demoable via those links above. These are fantastic plugins, save yourself £150,000 on cost of original hardware!
  7. £375 collection only (Kingston, Surrey) Guitar amp! 🤐 4x10 YCV80q - This is an awesome 80 watt ALL valve amp with tonnes of headroom, classic valve clean sound (as in Fender Twin style clean). Proper spring reverb, twin channel, various fx returns, direct out etc.. Takes pedals superbly, also has high gain channel plus plenty of tone options. Goes loud, can stay clean at very loud volumes. In excellent condition. Sounds lovely but too much amp for my needs these days. Please ask any questions! Demo welcome.
  8. Thankfully I've never had a single issue with couriers, probably sold 50 + big items (not basses!) on here, eBay, Reverb and The Fretboard. Decent packaging is key, but I'm more usually selling rack effects, drum machines etc which are easier to protect. Guitars and basses are tricky as they are difficult to package unless you have a proper hardcase/flightcase (and even then I guess it can go wrong). However some of the items I've bought from eBay I can hardly believe they've turned up unscathed. People have some funny ideas what constitutes decent packaging I've read some bass courier horror stories on here though I would always try to collect a bass or guitar if possible.
  9. I largely agree with this, seller takes responsibility for packaging, delivery & insurance. If they don't want to offer that then no problem at all, it's collection only (or meet up half way if possible). If the seller packs it but the buyer has to be responsible for courier and insurance then it's asking for trouble really - if both parties are happy then whatever, but personally I wouldn't sell or buy like that.
  10. Nice Who’s doing the download hosting & codes ? Do you mind telling us what the cost is please? When I’ve looked into this it’s a reasonable expense on top of the other costs. EDIT - I see it’s bandcamp, do they supply you a certain amount of unique codes?
  11. One of my mates has dropped out so I have a spare ticket - cost £25 + £4.75, looking for £20 (not 29 as stated above) Stalls standing. I have it as pdf so can email it to you. Support includes the fantastic Stewart Lee
  12. Sorry, didn’t see your reply at the time and not sure why this post has reappeared today - but I’m sorted for speakers now thanks.
  13. Acoustic tiles / bass traps / rockwool panels etc are not for soundproofing, they are for treating the acoustics to improve the listening conditions inside the studio. They may have some effect on transmission to the exterior, but very little I would have thought. Soundproofing is a totally different thing (and one which I don't know much about other than seal all the air gaps!)
  14. ATC SCM 50ASL Pro active studio monitors- mint condition - warranty till 2023. Bought brand new from Funky Junk Feb 2017, latest ATC tweeter model, 6 yr warranty till Feb 2023, mint condition, light use in non smoking studio, original boxes and packaging. Sound phenomenal. Downsizing studio forces sale. Collection preferred from Kingston SW London. PLEASE NOTE Price is £7800 + vat (£9360 inc vat, vat invoice provided) pics on request
  15. I’m looking for an online walking bass course to improve my (terrible) theory, fretboard knowledge etc, plus I really like walking bass. Electric bass, intermediate level, etc. Happy to pay. Any recommendations welcome!
  16. Do it It’s fun and so much better than having a file on Spotify. If you haven’t already then set up a band page on Bandcamp - you can sell the 7”s, badges, tshirts, downloads etc. and it’s somewhere to gather your audience’s details so you can mail them news of new releases. Put your Bandcamp url on the sleeve of the 7. Sleeve looks cool. Good luck
  17. http://curvedpressings.com/ in hackney, I think the pressing plant is there too, and the mastering engineers come recommend from friends of mine. ps I would go £9 for a 7”
  18. Record fair! Saturday 7th September 2019 and every 1st Saturday of the month thereafter, 9.30-4pm Richard Mayo Centre, Eden Street, Kingston, KT1 1HZ. Located just around the corner from Banquet records. Come and check it out, should be good.

  19. An admission of a genuine mistake, politely worded, wouldn’t froth me. I certainly wouldn’t want to force the thing on someone who didn’t want it. What would froth me is someone trying to claim it wasn’t ‘as described’ etc.
  20. Mistakes happen, I think it's a question of how you deal with it - I'm not advocating repeatedly changing your mind, or not showing up at a meeting, or stringing someone along for days, pretending you still want it but never paying etc. But a polite simple and honest 'sorry i made a mistake here' for me (as a seller) would be no problem (but once only!)
  21. If you’ve not already paid, then apologise humbly and pull out. No big deal, life goes on, the guy relists it (again).
  22. Sold that one! My current SQ series japanese P is 3.8kg or 8lbs 6oz, and that has the vintage style Gotoh lightweight tuners in (which are great btw and highly recommended!)
