gjones - when you say two fingers is easier, what do you mean? more fluent? less stress on one finger? i don't mind working on two finger as long as i can understand the long term benefits

I play with a pick but I'm trying to learn fingerstyle. I am finding the classic 'alternate' first and second finger plucking technique very difficult to get fluent. However I can play pretty well, (as far as I can tell), just using one finger. It's similar to playing only upstrokes using a pick, so while it might not get you [i]super fast[/i] picking, it seems covers most things. What do you think? Am I making a terrible mistake here if I don't learn two-finger style?! Am I missing something by only using one finger? Cheers Ted

you're right - a user number does appear on my receipt. it seems like if i sign out, and then try to pay the subscription then it still directs me to paypal. so if you're not signed in, what user-info is the system collecting? note - this was just a test, i didn't complete the transaction. anyway, just a question, i expect its been tested.

Ped I just paid my £20 by going to the 'support basschat' tab and doing it via paypal. I did the 'unlimited threads for a year'. I thought the donation field was a bit confusing? Is this for donations in addition to the £20? [EDIT - i see this is explained in the intro, i didn't read it properly] ALso, and this is the main thing - I was signed in, but I don't think there is any link between my paypal and my basschat account - eg. my email i use is different, my name is different, and i wasn't asked to enter my basschat username when making the donation. So... how will you (the websiite) know that I've paid? Ted

thanks for the opinions does the NY121 have a tweeter that can by turned down/off? i've read the tweeter on the CMD121 leaves a bit to be desired?

[/quote] Reviving this thread as I'm in a similar situation of downsizing a markbass 410hf + LM2, and considering a MB 121 combo and maybe extension cab. Lozz - how much beef does the extension cab add? is it more lows, or just same but louder? Do you need the extension cab to play with a drummer? Any info appreciated Ted
