Such pressure! It’s not mine but it was offered to me first, but I can’t stretch at the mo so it’ll be here soon. Pino style P bass but Jazz width neck. One of the lightest relics I’ve seen him do and a real player!

@dmccombe7 yup!

Keep an eye on the classifieds... one of the nicest Ps I've played is about to go for sale I believe! Only because I can't afford to claim it first right now!
-
@lou24d53 I think that the final finish quality doesn't have to be flawless in the same way as a non-relic'd would be. I was chatting with SC relics about this the other day, the setup he has to spray perfect finishes is insane!

QSC 2000w Powered monitor. I bought this for using with upright bass but have actually found myself using on electric bass gigs too. Plenty of power and low end! Plenty of built in presets, and loads of tweakability. Comes with QSC bag. Original box included, so could probably post but collection preferred. I'm in Bournemouth but I do travel a bit so feel free to ask!

Cheeky I know, but I’m itching for an amp/cab change up. In particular looking to try Fender Neo cabs, Bergantino NV series, barefaced 10” series, especially an Aguilar DB751 and DB cabs, SL410. If anyone has anything and would be up for me having a little play it would be utterly awesome! And if this is in the wrong place I’m terribly sorry and please shift!

Precision advice - don't read if you hate P basses

I can't praise Limelight enough... he'll make you the most 70s thing you could ever want and it's well under budget! https://classicandcoolguitars.co.uk/limelight-custom-builds/ -
I'm seeking a double guitar/bass stand for certain gigs... I've really never liked the Hercules AGS ones and Ultimate seem to do one that you can't get anywhere! I wish there was a double version of the rack ones for 3/5/7 guitars. Anything I might have missed?

I've just put this together whilst doing some string changing... may be of some use! Chromes, Curt Mangan Rounds, D'addario tapes and GHS Pressurewounds. This is the first time I've used Pressurewounds on a normal scale bass and I'm really enjoying it so far!

Same @intime-nick... I went for Specsavers for my first, and it took 4 attempts before the were accepted by 64 Audio! Now I'm onto a new set done by and absolute professional and I realise how bad the old ones were!
-
Have been trying pressurewounds too lately, very comfortable indeed. Chromes are my go-to. If you're looking at pure rounds I think you'll generally find Nickel less abrasive than stainless steel, especially when new!

https://www.f-itsfeedbackblockers.co.uk Had some of these made, utterly bang on and have been a lifesaver at times!

I believe average is about 12 weeks at the moment. The bodies and neck come from Allparts but the guys really seem to have a knack for making them sing... the tone is there acoustically and plugged in they sound awesome. Big fan here!

@EBS_freak I think that's my logic... for me it's really important to be as easy to handle as possible at a gig and require as little as possible form the engineer, but I'd always rather have a general/Sub mix in the board than just bass, makes a huge difference. At the moment I run my IEM mix through the Wodjer. A built in rack that is rigged up to send my one mix on to the floor with no faff and in a small package is an absolute ideal solution! With the Eich board I was using I powered it with my Aguilar and may as well have just brought an amp and cab instead... That said a pedalboard sized unit is a very cool idea too!
-
I'd definitley agree with the Half-Rack idea... It's going to be playing with IEM systems so it may as well be compatible! If you're running a Sennheiser unit for instance, it should be possible to run one of it's 'thrus' into the amp! All self contained then.

@peety I was wondering who got that one... I still have the pics on my phone from when I went and played it, and then deliberated too long! Awesome bass!

Count me in @EBS_freak!

@eude from what he said on the NAMM videos it was around $7k on the masterbuilt and $5k for the factory made versions of his 5 string, and around $2k for the new double cut... affordable is a vague word!

Have a look at SC Relics... am currently talking to him about a Limelight/SC hybrid, maybe there's something to be done there!

Yup! I've used these for both recording and live with a two notes IR loader. Live I found it's a bit of a mission to work with and get to cut through, but for fixing live recordings it's been very handy indeed!
