  1. Hey Guys...

Up for sale is a Year and a Half old Blues Junior, 15 watts pure valve Guitar Amp. It's in a great state, has not been out of the house much in it's life, but is nicely broken in! I'm based in Exeter, collection would be preferred but I could post at the right price! Can come with a Canvas padded cover(Choice of Colours!) if the buyer is willing to wait a week or so! I'm seeking £320 for this one.

    All the best,

    Paddy

  2. Hey guys,

Up for sale, as the final departures of all my bass gear, are my Warwick 4u Rockbag Rack, and a Behringer Rack Tuner.

The Tuner is about a year and a half old, Bought new and stored in the rack, so is in perfect condition and boxed... Kept this for use with Guitar but need the funds!

The bag is also in great condition, with all the shoulder straps etc..

I'm looking for £50 for the Tuner, and £40 for the Rockbag.... May be able to do a deal if both were bought! Postage would be £8 on both items.

  3. Hi All,

I'm currently playing an active bass - but I'm not quite getting the tone/sound I want out of it. I have an outboard preamp on order (possibly for a different bass), and I was thinking of running the bass through this before sticking it into the Active input channel to see if the outboard pre gives me the tone I want. If I like the sound, will it damage the amp at all? Also, is this process normal?!

Ultimately I am considering replacing the current active EQ and p/ups in the bass to something else, but I simply don't have the time or money for such a project at the moment. I just wondered what your thoughts are on an Active setup into an outboard pre and then the amp?

    Cheers

  5. Hey guys,

Up for sale is my full rig, a LittleMark2, a Warwick Rockbag 4u case, and a Rear Ported 104 Cab(8 Ohm). Sadly this is forced by major wrist issues, i just can't handle the bass anymore! Spend a long time putting this setup together! All leads needed are included.

Price wise, I am looking at £450 for the Cab, £400 for the head and £35 for the Rockbag. Could probably sort out delivery but would far prefer collection... could meet. Offers welcome. Would accept £820 for the whole rig.

Better pictures coming soon, this is all i have right now Have bought and sold plenty on here and on eBay without hitch! Racktuner not included, but may be available at the right price. The bottom Precision is also for sale.

  6. Hey guys,

Up for sale is my beloved but sadly underused 'SQ' Precision for which i searched for a very long time! Mostly because due to wrist issues i now find playing anything that is not a guitar or short scale fairly difficult!

I'm guessing 83, seems to ring a bell from when i bought it... all the detail is in the pictures(I will try and get some better ones up as soon as possible!). She does have the usual dings and dents from over 25 years in our world, and sounds and looks like a real vintage 60s P. Currently Strung with Thomastik Flats, which this bass was made for i swear! I also have the two metal 'Guards' for want of a better word, and will throw in a fender strap too.

The bass comes with a pretty solid hardcase, which i have shaped with foam so the whole thing sits really nicely. I will happily post, but this will cost around £20 from my previous experience! Collections welcome from or near Exeter.

I have found it pretty hard to put a value on this but i have seen similar go for over £400... so we'll go for a square £400 to start, make me an offer!

Have sold plenty of basses and other bits of kit on basschat and ebay to great success, my feedback here is stored away somewhere!

  7. Ideal beginner fretless, has faint fret lines where it has been defretted at some point, great job! Sounds better than expected, have even used it in the studio! Would post with a gig bag of some sort. Postage would be around £10. I'm looking for £80.

I am based in Exeter, collections welcome and meetings can be arranged! Have done many deals over basschat... must get my feedback updated cause it's all good! 100% ebay feedback.

  8. Hey guys

Just in case anyone here is looking to put a strat together, here are a few necks that i have been using lately...

First up a Cavanagh Customs left handed Maple strat neck, which has been used as an upside down righty... included fender 'reverse proto' style logo. It's a beatiful piece, and comes with Kluson Tuners in Gold. The heel has been shaved to fit a fender body... If I remember rightly a 70s reissue body so it should work with most vintage style bodies and others! As with all these project related things i feel obliged to mention that i cannot guarantee it will fit every body! No nut, and medium Jumbo Frets. Nitro finish.

I am looking for £110 for this neck... it is in pristine condition!

The second is a 60's style Rosewood neck with custom shop decals. I am pretty sure that it is not a real fender neck, but it is a great one nonetheless, and has been sitting in an american 62 reissue for the last year or so. Big frets again, and a very slim C Profile. There is a slight graze to the headstock, and the nitro finish has a slight checking that you can see in a certain light...

This one is up for £80

Both are real players necks, somewhere between vintage and modern radius, big frets, thin nitro finishes.

My Other sale is a Washburn D10S 12 string, has seen little use and is about 6 months old. Beautiful and far too nice to be sitting around! Has always been kept in a hard case and never gigged. No case, although I could buy one for it at cost for postage! Can arrange for collection anywhere around exeter, potentially as far as Bristol and Plymouth if necessary. I'm looking for £160
