  1. @Mickeyboro I'll probably get another one in good time, but i now owe Limelight some money (A not-uncommon situation...)
  2. A bunch of Hipshot USA Ultralite hardware (3/8" size) for a project that never happened. Xtender has been used sparingly, other tuners are brand new. 1 Hipshot USA HE6C Xtender Nickel/Satin Chrome £75 Posted 3 Hipshot USA HB6C Shiny Nickel £75 Posted

  3. After a bit of a bass-buying spree lately I need to let go of this funky little one. Short scale and very lightweight, with a Gator gigbag, extra set of La Bella flatwounds and a Nordy Mute. Collection preferred from the Bournemouth area, but I do travel often and can also post if need be. For those who don't know:
  4. Recorded slightly too early in the morning... IMG_3569-iphonepod.mp4
  5. @Lw. I had a look at this the other day... you've got a brilliant bass there!
  6. Bought the wrong thing... not for the first time! Hipshot Licenced Ultralite HB6C Tuning keys in shiny nickel, 3/8" size and all Bass side. £45 posted.
  7. Both in pretty much new condition, boxed and postage included. EBS Bass IQ Envelope Filter £120 Dunlop Volume X Mini Volume Pedal £107 SOLD
  8. Harley Benton's take on the mustang, but in a PJ format and with Gotoh hardware. This one has had a push/pull pot added which solos the P pickup. It also has a set of Nordstrand pickups fitted, and now sounds rather grown up! Fender short scale gigbag included, and I do have a shipping box if needed. A high quality bass for a very reasonable price. n
  9. Bought when i needed some extra protection for my bass travelling in a big van surrounded by flight cases, this is now surplus to requirements. Not in perfect condition by any means, but offers plenty of protection. Barely fits in my van, so very happy to let it go to someone with need. Fitted both of my 3/4 scale basses well. Collection only, for the reasons already mentioned, in the Poole / Bournemouth area. If you can't bear to take it from me for nothing, I'm always happy to suggest an RNLI donation.
  10. @Frank Blank another V1 I think… I really love it and keep switching between flats and rounds so thinking one each! One may well live with band gear too…
  11. I'd sell it back to you, but I am in fact considering buying a second!
  12. @lobematt Do you have any form of High Pass Filter in your chain? My first port of call would be to tweak the amount of sub going on, followed by switching the phase (There's always a better way round, depending on the room/PA). Loved my Fits with my old bass, but so far haven't felt the loss (since i changed basses and couldn't get any) thanks to the above.
  13. He has indeed... is aging them differently these days!
  14. Another vote for Orchid Electronics... stunningly good value and always come out top whenever I shootout DI boxes for reproducing exactly what is put into them, low end all intact with a strong signal level. The oldest one in my case must be 17 years old by now and still delivers perfectly.
  15. Happy to discuss offers on this... hard to figure out exactly where it should be priced! Feedback via PM welcome if anyone has any thoughts!
  16. I'm selling this Warwick Rockbass Streamer Standard on behalf of one of my students... she needs something a little smaller! As far as I can see it's a mid-2000s instrument. Passive four string with twin MEC humbucker pickups. I have replaced the tuners with proper Gotohs as the Warwick ones were failing, a pretty well documented issue that won't be a problem on this. Gigbag included, postage possible, and I have it here so happy to answer any questions! 4.2kg (9.4lbs) .
  17. Lovely to put a face to a name in the depths of Fleet Services! Great dealings, top notch communication and an all around top-notch buying experience 👍
  18. The rumours are true.... this quirky little bass is now in my hands! Had great fun playing it all evening, it definitely has a place in the collection.
  19. 2 of these GLXD16 Sets available, £325 each posted. 1 SOLD Wireless receiver with tuner built in, by miles the most reliable and user friendly wireless system I've used to this point. One receiver has velcro on the base, and one receiver has it's little rubber door missing (Fairly common I think!) All in great working order. Choice between two cable lengths for the first buyer!
  20. @bassadder Yes indeed!
  21. I finally had the chance to play one of these this weekend... what a cool little bass. Posted in the Wanted section but thought i'd mention it here just in case anyone is looking to move one on!
  22. I had the same experience with Devon Strings... another shout out for Ben Taylor in Southampton, he's really excellent!
  23. I also love the Rumble 500... I did move to a Rumble 800HD and 210 cab, for two reasons: 1, so i could use the head with my bigger cabs when wanted, and B, because the DI on the 500 is affected by the master volume, which it isn't on the 800. Worth knowing going in! The speakers really evolve once played in, I found both sounded a little tight when new, and opened up considerably.
  24. If you do decide to go down the Fender 810 route Absolute Music in Bournemouth have an Ex-Demo one that could probably be negotiated on. I have one here too and would always be happy for you to try it if down my way. I promised myself I could have an 810 as long as I never need to ask for anybody's help with it, and i can easily handle it by myself. The Bassman head is probably more awkward!
