We then got an email later on saying that we had been chosen to be in the final 100. They did have an initial campaign to find the bands, yes. It was mostly just via Facebook and Twitter though. To be honest, I don't think for a second, personally, that it's going to trouble the Xmas number 1 in any way. But I think it's a great idea and if it's going to give free publicity to 100 unsigned bands in the UK then I'm happy to be a part of it and spread the word.

[/quote] As far as I'm aware, it was just the 3 guys organising the campaign who shortlisted the bands down from a few thousand. Whether anyone else had an input I'm not sure.

+1 for Mono GS1 straps! They're definitely the comfiest straps I've ever tried. They're 3" wide and the large ones extend to about 59"!

Ah ok cool! Yeah for me it's the Streamer Stage 2 that I've been after for a while! Fell in love with them from the offset! I don't know any shops in the UK that stock them, no! I've only ever seen second-hand ones in shops! But then I'm up in Scotland so there might be some near you! Paul

Bought Gary's Ampeg SVT-3 Pro off him! Really nice guy to deal with and good communication throughout! The amp arrived yesterday in mint condition complete with all the original packaging! Would thoroughly recommend!

The best resource for that is probably "The Unsigned Guide"! It has a pretty extensive list in there with contact details for each of them! They used to do a book which got updated every year but they stopped doing it a few years ago! Now they just have a website you have to subscribe to! You can pick up one of the older edition books second-hand on amazon for a couple of quid; I'm sure most of the venues are still relevant! You could always just do a google search though I suppose i.e. Music venues in Birmingham! I'm sure you would find most of them that way! But yeah like I say most venues tend to have a facebook page and more often than not, that's how we get in touch! Paul
