1. Hi, I just spent about 15 mins looking for mine to. Searches for "Pinball" in the forum shows nothing at all.
2. Ibanez, Bass Collection, Tune and Pedulia would be good brands to look at. My G&L SB2 is nice too. I would also suggest looking at your playing position if your worried about neck dive. Adjusting the strap so that the bass head more upwards rather than horizontal helps with my tendon problems as is really easy to do with a lighter bass.
3. I catch your drift Chewie I have a GB Streamliner and 2x12 but use an Ashdown Mibass and 1x15 Ashdown cab in the house and that has loads of oomph. It also saves be carrying my gear in and out of the house. If I was you I would hang onto one of your GB cabs and get a nice 200-350W head that matches it. That way you still have plenty in the tank if you do need it for a gig. Ashdown RM or Gallien & Krueger would be my choices
4. Getting closer Youtube Video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXPhW7z2UJ0&t=20s Support: https://www.facebook.com/ChiaroscuroUK/videos/478884139148384/
5. One left for sale A Yamaha LL6SB + fitted with an excellent Freshman Ellipse VT preamp system. The total new value would be about £900+. I was told that this was the early version with an ebony fret board, It is outstandingly resonant but I no way to verify this. I managed to find the following on the internet for the model without the electronics. Thanks to Yamaha’s classic LL modified dreadnought body and the use of premium tonewoods including a Solid Englemann Spruce Top, and Rosewood Back and Sides, the LL6 offers a loud, powerful, well-balanced tone with clear response and excellent projection. Construction features unique to the L-Series include an enlarged neck block for greater stability and better low frequency response, a 3-ply laminated vintage ‘V’ Profile Neck for ultra-comfortable feel. £400 seems a bargain...ooh also it has a name and is called Elaine. I think that she's a bit special https://www.youtube....h?v=D4DBwQEuoaI
6.
So it's YOUR fault!!
Well I bought a Fender 6 string/Baratone instead, which went back to the seller as it had action issues. There is a good scrumpy mike bass in this I can feel it in my bones.
7. Having thought long and hart about buying his Rascal I watch with interest
8. I have mine already. Fretless Stingray 5 and Ibanez BTB1805
9. I tried one of these in a store a while back...very impressive...have a bump
10. Beautifully played, thanks for posting. Real cross genre stuff too, sort of prog or math rock..whatever it sounds great
11. I tried the fretted and fretless at the bash and was very impressed. The build and electrics were exceptional..which meant the sound was too. I also had a quick try on one in Hobgoblin in Bristol...seemed really good to me. They are not my thing though to be honest as I have never hankered after anything other than a solid electric.
12. The poster says it all, new matrial to listen too as well[ attachment=256386:Royal Oak poster.jpg].
13. Back to £650 + carriage...bargain
14. I just bought an EBS Trem from Graham, a fast and easy deal with good coms....thanks!
15.
Mine is first in the chain as well, but I don't run envelope filters or wah pedals either.
Mine is near the front but I have my tuner and Wah pedal in front. It just sounds better to my ear that way around. I do have other envelope filters but I don't feel the need to tame them.
16.
Every Fender Jazz bass I've owned, and I've tried a few... Sound brilliant Look even better Love the sound... Play in a band with them and I'm like, "argh where's that nice sound gone?" I want to love them, but can't
I recognize this. I had Delano driven Sandberg JM's on two occasions and had the same problem. I have been wary of Delano driven guitars ever since.
17. Don't fight it buddy, if you start guitar you will come back and enjoy bass also IMHO I play both and love both
18. I'm really looking for a trade It's A superb delay pedal with memory slots and simple imtuative controls I'm looking for a Trelolo, reverb I notice these are going for around the £450 mark new now in a lot of places. Great condition, boxed with adapter and has velcro on the bottom
19. I owned a Saturn Shadow Eclipse, which was a beautiful instrument and very nice to play. The on bourd electris were also nice.. They have a great name....
20.
If anyone is interested how it sounds in a mix, here it is from live practice last night, not the greatest playing but maybe you'll get the idea. https://www.dropbox....%20new.mp3?dl=0
Cut's though well, nice one. I gig with an ATK805. I've tried a lot of basses over the last 4 years and It's the rest of the bands favourite along with a Bass Collection
