1. Well, I thought it was worth £699 so £600 must be a bargain Such style and a pleasure to play
2. That happens to me even when I swap beween nice instruments. They inspire you to play better and to enjoy the listening experience more.
3. Hi, I have a Boss NS-2 pedal in nice condition. No nasty scrapes and no velcro applied. £40 collected or £43 posted.
4. More info added in response to questions: It pretty much ding and immaculate other than the one mentioned in this post. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/299792-traded-2014-fender-sting-signature-p-bass-superb/page__fromsearch__1 I have some more pics so if you pm me your email I can send them
5. Congratulations, thats a real looker! My P bass is an SB-2
6. In really nice condition. Not much use so the paint work is good and it has never had velcro attached. No box or battery add £2 for postage
7. PRICE DROP to £600 Fender Signature Sting Bass (2014). It is a great P bass, very comfortable, light weight, with lots of character IMHO. I got this in a trade with no intention of keeping but was curious as the spec is similar to a 53 P bass. It has new TI flats on, which are so new that they are still a bit stiff but will play in. It seems to be a rare guitar. There is no case or candy It is a great bass. It has a great action and I love the wood grain and vintage tint. It sounds great, with it's own voice and is in superb condition. Grab yourself a bargain and bit of history. Any trial welcome! It sounds like this...coool! 8.
Does anybody know anything about raynaud's disease? I have it and it's a pain whenever we're playing in a cold venue or outdoors. A mate said I should get some leather fingerless gloves, would they help? Cheers
I also suffer from this. When I told my doctor that I had been wearing fingerless gloves to try and keep my hands warm, he shook his head your doing it wrong, what you really need is buy some gloveless fingers to keep your fingertips warm. A joker
9.
http://www.thomann.d..._ash_mn_tbs.htm Pricey
I played one of these at the weekend. I have to say that I thought it was great. I spent quite a long time trying to find faults and came to the conclusion that I couldn't. A great sounding bass b9oth passive and active. I was impressed
10. Now £375, which seems about right and this one is a cracker. Get it while it's hot!
11.
Oh I didn't remember that - i wont bother if you have one there already. No point cluttering things up
No worries, I'm sure that it won't be cluttered. Anyway mine may sell. It would be good to compare a tribby to a USA
12.
I believe that they are MIM and the neck is on the thicker side. The skinny P-Bass neck come on the Nate Mendel sig model. GLWTS, really cool bass with great features ( Badass, CS pick up... )
I'm sure that there were a few USA made ones about. I remember one being on here
13.
if anyone has a Fender P or P/J 5 string or a G&L 2500 I would love to try these. Graham
It looks like your covered already but I am down as bringing a for sale, G&L Tribute L2500. I can switch it to my L1505 if there are a few of those already
14. Thats what happens when the seller won't post.
15. It certainly complements your other basses....lots of mojo there
16. here we have a beutifully made Godin SD guitar. Now a bargain at £250 ono for a really versitile and beutiful pro instrument. The buyer won't be dissapointed I bought it used as a spare and have gigged with it a few times in Bristol. I really like it but don't use it enough to justify keeping it It is Canadian made and the construction and electrics are superb. It is nice and comfortable and most importantly it sounds great and suits many types of music.. Note: The case and strap aren't included in the price but we may be able to come to an arrangement I don't have a tremolo arm so have never tried it as I don't use it. Thanks for looking
17. These G&L Tributes are amazing basses and are well known for thier good construction and wide array of sound options. My reason for sale is that I already have a G&L L1500 and wanted to compare them. I now need to slim down the number of instruments that I own. This bass plays and sounds superb and has really nice wood grain. It is also in showroom condition. Save yourself some money and buy it...any trial is welcome. There is a nice vid of someone here putting one of the L series though it's paces: https://www.youtube....h?v=_5-VEr_M9I8 To quote the G&L web site: When Leo Fender† launched the G&L L-2000™ bass in 1980, it was clear he was ready to make history all over again. Never before had such a wide range of tones come from a single bass, and today the L-2500™ packs all the features of the latest L-2000 into a 5-string. Like its L-2000 brother, the foundation of the L-2500 is a pair of G&L Magnetic Field Design™ humbuckers backed by the flexible Tri-Tone™ control system, providing the sort of versatility that’ll let you find your tone no matter what kind of bass line you’re laying down. The Tri-Tone system features a trio of mini toggles for pickup selection, series/parallel signal routing and active/passive operation, as well as a trio of knobs for volume, treble and bass. With all that under the hood, the L-2500 brings the kind of chops that’ll fit in any situation, from classic R&B to power-packed rock to poppin’ funk. What’s more, the L-2500 features an innovative Leo Fender-designed Saddle-Lock™ bridge to transfer string energy right into the body end-grain for an incredibly resonant instrument. The Tribute® Series L-2500 delivers the magic of Leo’s revolutionary design at a price attainable for every working musician. Once you play a G&L Tribute Series, you’ll never look back. 18. 5 String Thunderbirds aren't currently made so are quite rare. The Pro series are among the best of the Epiphones and this one is in nice condition other than a ding on the top/front edge, that can be seen in the photos . A nice video on Epiphone Thunderbirds here: https://www.youtube....atch?v=PF5uWbwJ This one has a great and tone well made but I find the B string quite quiet. It comes with a soft case. It is also nice and light and a beautiful bass IMHO, It would be a great beginners bass and is well made so able to be modded into something special-that was my intention but I'll never get around to it. 19.
it might be worth getting in touch with Epiphone, explaining your problem and seeing if they will be able to supply the correct replacement pickups.
It's been a couple of days and I heard nothing back from Epiphone, despite a supposed 24hr web presence.
20.
I want a thunderbird but after playing an epi one at PMT yesterday I found it hard to get on with given the neck being so long.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the 5 stringer (Pro V) balances really well. It is a very light bass
