Thanks for the response Pinball. So basically no loss of volume or bass frequencies if dialed to suit? and can be used for bass or guitar?
Yes, I'm happy with it
Is that a bass wah Pinball
Apologies for the late reply. It is an Ibanez Weeping Demon, It is highly tweak-able in that it has a low dial, a volume dial and a range switch. It also has various operation modes. I just leave it set so that it is off when not pressed. Turn up the bass, the range switch and volume so that you cut through and your off. With all those variables it must have been designed as an all rounder with bass in mind. I used to have a Morley which was nice and solid but it didn't seem to achieve much in the mix. The Ibby has a more dramatic effect-it can be vicious with distortion though so you need to practice a bit. Since getting it I haven't looked at any others as it does what I want There is a new verion without all the controls so check you get the right one. Note: I have it first in my line of effects. No tone suck when its off Info here: http://www.musicians...demon-wah-pedal

    Wah wah

I love wah and use it live on a couple of tracks. You can certainly add rhythm and ambiance provided that you avoid pedals that suck tone. If not it won't appear to do much in the mix.
  7. Thanks for a super fast and easy deal. Great to meet you Graham Ed
  8. I like it but I'm not going to use it so it needs to go.. PRICE DUMP!
  9. Zoot ahoy! c'mon you landlubbers!
  10.
Where? I can't see it anywhere.
I don't want to publicize it to much in case someone buys it .......nurse! Here it is: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/270642-bass-collection-fretless-feeler/page__fromsearch__1
  11.
If you're not gigging the basses, but you play them regularly as long as you're enjoying playing them - keep them Perhaps use one as a backup for gigs? Or try gigging one - maybe they need some different amp settings / EQ'ing?
I have it up for sale at the moment but if it doesn't sell I have a plan, I'm going to replace the electronics and maybe to give a darker sound. I do intend to play it around and about but not in my band so am looking forward to getting it refined to my personal tastes.
  12. I heard this bass in action last night at an acoustic set/open mic. I have to say that it sounded great.
  13.
Nice. Very nice
Thanks, probably my best playing bass this.
  14.
Hen's teeth, rocking-horse poo, etc...
Yes I know, I had one before and regretted selling so bought this one, which is equally nice and a rare colour too...I get the feeling I may regret selling this someone buys it but needs must.
  15. This is a beautiful example of a hard to find bass. It's used but in great condition with only a couple of marks on the headstock, and a strange small darkened stain under the lacquer on the back which according to fender was more than likely original and a stain in the wood. It has been professionally set up and plays extremely well. Neck is true. Electrics are in A1 condition with no noisy pots etc. It comes with the original case, documentation and truss rod adjustment tool. Just checked the authenticity with Fender and all fine. 16. Yes it's back! I'm putting most of my stuff up for sale in an effort to get some funds together. This is a very "easy to live with" bass. It is nice and light and plays and sounds great. It does need a bit of love (which it will get if it doesn't sell) and there are numerous small surface marks etc as you would expect on a well used bass. if you fancy it don't let that put you off as it's class shines though IMHO and it has a touch of magic about it. It also looks great! Here's a link to a previous thread (I hope that is OK TheGreek): http://basschat.co.u.../page__hl__zoot EMG's There's a switch fitted but does nothing - controls are vol/vol/tone
  17. Well i need to sell something so am putting up almost all my basses for sale. If something sells I'll take the rest down. Here is a very nice Bass collection. The model is a bit of a mystery-maybe a 420 and it has a more natural finish than the usual high gloss. It's active, lightweight and plays beautifully.
