1. I have a blonde one of these and love it. Got to lover those hot Texas pups. Goof luck with your sale.
2. It's passive, no battery space and de-fretted but well done imho. If you want pics send me your email and I'll send them
3. New options including Esh for sale
4. What a steal! I can't believe this is still here, such a good looking bass too!
5.
Lovely looking bass - I presume it does all the stuff Sandbergs are renowned for...
Yep certainly does, it's not just a looker. It's a serious bit of kit and a nice tactile instrument.
6. That's sweet Nice demo
7. PM replied to..... still for sale
8.
Free's Andy Fraser is still one on my favourite bass players even now.....some of his lines were so funky and slinky and as Betafunk says, he was so young.
+1 I was trying "The Stealer" a while back. In practice its trickier to play well than Mr Fraser makes it look. 9. Bumpity, Don't let it get away......Offers?

11. +1 a Gorgeous bass
12. SOLD The Esh is back up for sale as I need more cash (don't seem to have enough these days ) To be honest I don't know much about it's history but I was told it was produced just before the company changed hands in the early 2000's. The controls and pup set up are unusual. It has 4 pots. One volume, one tone, one with several "Eshtronic" sound options and one with pickup combinations. With some of the pup combinations you get very little or no tone control due to the preizo (hope I's spelling that right). The other settings use the "Eshtronic system" and vary the tone quite a lot. with passive/active/recording etc. There are a lot of variations. The body finish is also interesting. It has a nice flame maple front but the edge has what I believe is a sandblasted finish so that the ash? wood grain stands out. Run you finger down the edge and it feels corrugated. Construction is good and solid. one of my lighter basses Here on some pics, PM me if interested
13. Harke Bass Attack?
14.
The Nighthawk basses look the business http://www.sandberg-...al-nighthawk-tm
Agreed but it needs a black/ebony fret board to finish it.
15. They are lovely!
16. I wanted one of these back in 79 GL with the sale
17.
Well I know I would choose ESH: They look awesome. Incredible build quality. I like the way that the body shapes can look outrageous, but they've kept the woods and colours fairly conservative. They sound incredible. ESH piezo circuit sounds like a DB. No-one else uses them. Ergonomically sound; no dive, nice and light, comfortable on the strap or sitting position. For a handmade bass, good value for money. To buy new, you need to go to Mark at Bassdirect. And he's awesome. Truckstop
i +1 especially on the sound of the Prezo. I'm playing lead now and keep thinking I need so move some basses on but I'm loathed to move the move on the Esh because of the priezo sounds-so do I move on a Sandberg or my fretless-no no no can't decide. I'm a tormented soul
18. Congratulations, great looking machine!
19. Interesting thoughts I was tempted to say that "I have always done my own thing" but then I suddenly remembered that is plainly not true. I'm playing lead guitar again and although I wasn't rich I remember trading in all my kit for a brand new USA Strat as I loved Clapton and Hendrix. What a waste of time because 1. I wasn't that good and 2. it wasn't my sound or style so it sat in it's case for the next 20 years. so... It all depends what floats your boat. If you enjoy doing covers then obviously you need to copy and its a useful way to hone your technique but...... if you just want to have fun and/or the creative type it can be both surprising and rewarding not to be restrained by someone else's style or sound.
20. I'm frustrated because I have ended up playing guitar when I wanted to play bass. I'm in a merry band of 3. One plays bass, one guitar or bass and one vocals. That is me in the middle. It's good fun though so I'm rolling with it. Probably better at guitar anywayz
21. oooh, An incredible array of sounds from this bass and a real eye catcher. GL with the sale Bargain!
22. Thanks for the info., so its probably just an older verion rather than a factory option.
If you are listing it on ebay, how about listing it on here first? Assuming you haven't already of course!
Yep I agree. Basschat is always my first call for buying and selling but in this case I'm trying to get funds together for something and haven't donated or signed up for selling yet (hangs head in shame and embarassment) so it seems mad to shelve out £20 when my fund is empty. Once I have sold some items than I will sign up and start advertising here-I promise Hmm but them I won't have anything for sale Chicken and egg syndrome haahaa!
23. Edit: Ignore most of this, I'm a fool I just needed to read the label properly as it says "Mag 115 Deep" (blush), but I'd still be interested to know if the covering is standard. I bought an Ashdown cab off ebay last year. I stuck it my my garage as I had a bad shoulder and thought It would save me carrying my kit through the house when I started gigging. Well I have started gigging but am playing guitar not bass so I need to sell this on to fund some other kit. I'm sticking it on ebay but am not sure how to list it. I know its not your standard deep 115 as I have one of those and this one seems more sturdy, has a blue speaker, carpet covering and a metal grill on the front. Is it just called an ABM 115? I can't seem to find the exact one, the woolly covering is especially confusing as it seem like it has been there from new. Any help would be much appreciated as I don't want to miss-sell
