1. Very well done. The quality of the is already high. I'm working on something but you look like making it difficult for my to improve on the two votes I got last time
2. I like that, the first part of has shades of the 60s batman TV series theme made into an insane version and the 2nd part is very smooth! I salute you sir!
3. Been listening you Tina Turner, Delilah's Power on you tube. I loved that album so have just managed to find and buy it from Amazon. It had to be done. grittier than a cockle pickers sandwich!
4. Keep going I say. I like the sound and would happily watch a band playing this stuff live. I hear echoes of REM in some tracks. I don't feel qualified to talk about bass technique in depth but it sounds nice and tight to me.
5. I like the MXR blowtorch. I haven't vast experience of distortion pedals but it hits the spot for me. http://www.dv247.com/studio-equipment/mxr-m181-bass-blowtorch-bass-guitar-effects-pedal--65034
6. Nope pretty cheap and effective software, there are normally special deals on EZ Drummer if you look around. I have that with a Groove Monkey plug in pack that works really well.
7.
Anyone going that would be interested in stuff for sale as I could being along? Aluminium Warwick bass case for £50? No keys unfortunately-I have too many cases. I think its Rockbass from memory. Original SandsAmp-not mine but the guy wants £100 for it. A old Peavy 15" BW cab that weighs a ton. £30 My Crafter acoustic bass thats for sale on here £250 ono. Once I restring it with nylons I'll be taking it to work to play at lunch times and removing it from the for sale section. I'll probably bring my Sandberg or Crafter along as I don't have many pedals. Could bring the Carvin but I have the action set high as I like it that way.
ooh adding a great playing Spector Legend 4 advertised in the basses for sale section £250. Currently set up BEAD. Everything goes in ebay at the end of the month if no takers.
8. Hmm this forum is just is a bad place for GAS I have only been playing bass for a year and have had the following line up so far: Passed on: Peavey no name bass Schecter Stiletto 4 custom Dean Edge Improv Custom 5 Spector Legend 4 Spector NS2000/5 FS: Crafter BA-580 EQ Spector Legend 4 ( BEAD tuned) Keepers (for now) Carvin XB75 Fender Precision fretless Sandberg California Supreme and another Sandberg on the way! I just love trying out a new bass-it inspires me to play!
9. A real beauty and a great player. This is as new with no significant marks other than the usual very light scotches on the back. It bass was up for sale and sold about 6 weeks ago but after receiving a deposit the buyer had to bail out as he was made redundant. Deposit refunded and back up for sale. Sign of the times I guess
10. Congratulations to you and the person who bought it. It looks a great bass.
11. Muse? Great band when they started out but have become more conservative as they moved on. If you go hack to some of their earlier stuff it was fresh and for a short time prog for its time e.g. Plug in baby and Hysteria still hit the spot for me. Thats why you hear the bass lines from Hysteria being played by young players in every other guitar shop you go into.
12. RE: On my evo II, the compressor works after my liking, but the sub-octave is very slow to pick up the frequency - so much so that it gets to be an effect on its own on long notes - a quite nice effect I hasten to add. Yes I like that effect, makes a nice "fat" sound. I would prefer a Mark Bass but my use doesn't justify the expense. I suspect I would like Hartke amps as my favorite pedal is their "Bass Attack", which borrows from their amp modelling technology-not sure about their speakers for my bluesy sound. The only other that I fancy in the Ashdown price range is the Ampeg stuff because I like the sound.
13. Get a decent microphone. If you don't sing you can do something else acoustic and shake your tambourine!
14. After advice on this forum I got a Mag Evo2 and a separate 115T cab and am happy with it. They are solid and yet not to heavy to move around and they give a nice sound. I also like the amp adjustments. Simple and effective EQ control.
15. Very nice! and if the pickups sound anything like the jazz on my XB your in for a treat. It has its own distinctive but very usable sound. I hope that we'll get a review?
16.
As Pinball mentioned, I'll be coming along to this. If anyone fancies a go on anything in my signature, let me know and I'll make sure I'll bring it. If you're interested in buying either of my Bass Collections or my Dean, let me know too!
Well I always like the sound of your amp and Overwater

18. Well it is a very pretty bass so it it plays as good as it looks you should be happy
19. Thanks, I inherited those on my fretless bass and like them a lot. I'll be sticking with them on that.
20. Hi, a bit of a strange one this. I traded this with Mauro quite recently. I wanted it for a music project that didn't happen. Note: Mauro also bought it for a project that failed to happen. Obviously a lucky bass! Still it is a nice playing instrument in "as new" condition. Not only that but it is a stunningly beautiful piece of kit. Unfortunately I don't have much time and can't see me ever having time to use it. I mainly play 4 stringers and could use a back up so if you have something to trade-either a similar quality electro/acoustic lead guitar or an electric bass fretted or fretless. It gets good user reviews on line so a bargain I think.
