1.
I've spoken to Dale - what a great bloke! He's going to send me his details and should be able to get it picked up asap- it's waiting and ready to go!! I'd like to use the emergency situation card if at all possible!! edit - the cut and paste didn't work for me - maybe I'm breaching some work protocol!!!
Wrey!?! All systems are go then. This is all quite exciting isn't it?
2. Bloody hell! That's fantastic news. Great work Donnyboy. I'm happy for having them all sign it and having it couriered. I'll message dale and me ruin that you've his details and that something is going to be arranged. We need to get that to you pronto.
3. What a delightful little idea. Hang on..."if you can find them"?!? Is that just a way of getting us all excited and cheered up on a Monday when in reality, you've lost them and you're just building us up, just to let us down?
4. My first mod project was a squier VM Precision. Nice weight, easy to source parts and easy on the wallet. My next project will be with a Squier Deluxe J. In my Opinion, squiers are pretty good for playing around with.
5.
Ah! Forgive my ignorance everyone!!!! Lol Haven't really been following the relay but perhaps I should sign up are those top frets filled? (..yet..!??)
...no :-P I removed them as I needed them elsewhere and never got round to filling or replacing them.
6.
What's the bass in that pic? Some frets taken out!?
That my friend is the BC Baton, the relay bass
7. We meet again :-p Welcome to BC.
8. When I get home, I'll message you Dale's details to arrange a collection/handover/drop off, lets keep it moving and when donnyboy's gig comes in, the bass will go Falkirk bound.
9. I've messaged Dale with the above mentioned interest.
10. I've heard back from Dale, apparently it's being picked up this weekend to be used. As for having it couriered, I don't see any issues with that myself. Depending on timeframes, ubassman, I could email you Dale's contact details and I'll mention it going to you then up to Falkirk instead of it staying where it is? If memory serves well, there's a fair few north of the border that want a go.
11.
I think there is some way to tag pictures to a location, so you can have like a map with pictures on it. Everyone needs to take plenty of pictures anyway! James, if you want to send me a list of the locations and a load of gig photos, I can put them into some kind of promo video for you.
I can do the tagging. As for the video, I'll send everything I have when I get home tomorrow, I think Iamtheelvy may have a video too, I can't remember. Also, if any BC members would like admin on the FB page, just let me know.
12.
Would be good for admin to re-publish the pics on the facebook page so they appear without having to trawl the "Recent Posts by Others on BC Bass Relay"
I'll sit and do it this afternoon
13. As far as I'm aware it didn't make glastonbudget. The quickest way to contact BB Blackdog is through either his or his band's Facebook page, I'll PM the links when I get home.
14. Mine last night was great. Was my first outdoor gig. We played a 40th birthday in someone's garden. Sun was shining, not a cloud in sight and the host treated us more like guests than performers. They even had a keg of real ale in the garage and a hog roast on the front drive. ...Packing up in the dark after the sun went down was a bitch though.
15. The bass is still currently with BBBlackdog. The guy that was going to take it from him is having a few hold ups so there is a chance for someone else to swoop in I guess. James

17. I believe it's being used at "glastonbudget" this weekend, but I've not heard from matey since Thursday
18.
Nice! Fwiw I cant see the need for that very first part in a covers band can anyone else?
I agree, but I just really want it in there
19. These are great strings and my personal fav. If I had the cash or trade items I'd snap them up, soooo, have a little bump.
20.
Even down to C sharp?
I've yet to require a low C Sharp. I drop it to get the E Flat and that's about it I'm afraid. Sorry to disappoint.
21.
Fixed... You must have mistaken me for somebody else['s] guy..... Garry
Sorry :$ Haha, another song we do
22. Afternoon all, The current total raised now stands at £627.57. Well done to all so far. The current "target" on the justgiving page is set at £1000. With how we're going, we'll beat that in no time. So, what should we up it to? Cheers, James
23. Cheers Lowdowner. I think it's the first one of the two...though I'll have to try and decipher the score first. Cheers matey
24. If I'm honest John, it really isn't important at all, but since it was mentioned, I'd really like to work it in
