I often find that I'll play it but not know what it is. I've learnt something one way, started playing and my hands play it another way altogether.

The relay bass.

Watched the series recently and really enjoyed it myself. Apparently they were playing too as they were all taught by matey from Fountains of Wayne.

I'd love to have a go at this and have previous experience with Chinese visas, my only problem is my backing vocals aren't THAT strong.
