1. I think he's hoping to shift the lot as one, but I'll ask him.
2. Well at the moment I'm just seeing if anyone's interested. If they are, I'll accept and get these. I've been offered them, but would only accept if there's a chance of shifting them so I can get the TC elec gear I'm after.
3. If its a portable head you're after, I'm trying to shift an Ashdown superfly 500w in the for sale section :-P
4. Most probably the wrong place for this, but as its not definite, thought I'd put it here first. I've recently been offered (this morning) an Ampeg AP3550 power amp and a Peavey T.B Raxx pre-amp. I really wouldn't need these, but could be a good bridge towards getting the BH250 I badly want. Now, if I've no chance of shifting these I won't bother taking them. The question is, would anyone be interested?
5. That's exactly like my old one. Been trying to find a desert gold HH ever since (regrettably) selling it :-( Just wish I had the cash.
6. I had a boss SYB-3 and its perfect for that. I manage to get the ultimate "there's no limit" sound out of it.
7. Looks like I'm not getting mine now :-( a week after ordering I'm told its not in stock :-(
8. Got a black bridge cover on my oly white P, one day I might get round to buying and fitting the neck one.
9. Price drop to £650 to entice someone.
10. Rainy, cold Monday morning, please buy this so I can go and get a TC BH250 bump
11. I've always wanted to try something like this. Only problem is I struggle playing and BV's. Could learn though I suppose?
12. My ideal gig. Flea was the reason I started playing and still to this day love all of their music. Would love to do a chilis act.
13. Hi all, looking to move on my Superfly 500. It works fine and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. Only reason I'm moving it on is because yesterday I tried a TC electronics BH250 and fell in love with it. So I'd happily part ex it, failing that, it's up for straight sale. I've read that some people had issues with these, I've not experienced any problems with mine. From the ashdown site: Ashdown Engineering’s extraordinary new Superfly combines a sophisticated programmable bass preamplifier and a powerful 500 Watts RMS power section in a compact bass amp head that weighs in at just 10 pounds. A product of the innovative Ashdown Labs development programme, the Superfly is gifted with a powerful, authoritative sound with a strong, controlled bottom end and clear, precise highs, all courtesy of an advanced digital power amp section. Programming the preamplifier is an intuitive and straightforward process. The user can store 69 programmes comprising of input level, 7-band graphic equalisation and compression settings, and switch them via any MIDI-compatible pedal to achieve an exceptional degree of live performance control on stage. As for the amps spec: Power Output (RMS) 2 x 250W into 4 Ohms Line Input 100mV – 5V Line Output 10K Ohms, 0dB DI Output 600 Ohms balanced / Level -20dBu nominal EQ +/- 15dB at 60Hz, 180Hz, 340Hz, 660Hz, 1.3kHz, 2.6kHz, 5kHz HxWxD (mm) 220 x 86 x 360 Weight (kg) 4.5 Effects Loop 10K Ohms, 0dB Digital Interfaces USB, MIDI Programme Memories 30 Factory, 69 User After £125 inc. 14. I reckon I could. I want to use these guys, they're a great lot and got loads of enthusiasm and all the right ideas. The guitarists a ska/punk guy, the drummers Indy, the singers and out n out rocker, and I like my funk. Just the mix I'm after.
15. Sorry for the delayed reply. Went ok...Ish (not really). The drummer is solid. Known him since college and when we first met/played together our lecturer asked how many years we'd been playing together. So no problems there. We've not played (together) for 5 years and straight away was like we never stopped. Now, for the sake of breaking everyone in, we settled on learning a few covers (enough for a set whilst we write our on material). The guitarists half learned one and had a tab for the second. The singer hadn't learned any. As a result the drummer got annoyed and left early. The guitarist is a nice guy, plenty of experience, but struggled as he's recently converted a strat to a lefty and kept having sound issues (kept knocking the blade switch without realising). The singer's and interesting one though. She's got the look, voice and attitude for a band, but has never sang in front of people. I knew I was taking a gamble with this, but am willing to see it through. Unfortunately for her, she turned up with a blocked nose and sore throat and nerves hit her. The songs she had chosen were slightly out of her range, so that mixed with the confidence wasn't a good combo. As a result, me and the drummer got annoyed. People not learning stuff really grated on us in college. It's not hard and we've all had a few weeks to do so. Despite the singers range/song issues, I've taken the original set, scrapped it and chose a new one. One that the singer should fit in to, one that the guitarist shouldn't have a problem learning. I'm going to schedule another rehearsal next week and hopefully there'll be an improvement as I really want this to work and to move onto originals.
16. Traded my EHX Micro Q Tron with Bill, good comms throughout and a great guy to deal with.
17. Just traded a pedal with Mark. Great guy to deal with, good communication and everything as described :-)
18. worth noting, cheers. Sibob, I'm the same as you. I'm currently running a P (with an addition MM) through a 15. Dood, read your reviews and as you guessed earlier may try the green mile. I did order the EQ today so I'll let you know how that turns out when it arrives.
19. Evening all, Looking to move on my Phase 90. I got it a month ago and not really used it. Never left the house and have all the docs and box. Looks brand new other than the velcro on it. I'm after £40 including Uk delivery as that'll fund it's replacement. Cheers, James I'm afraid it's not letting me upload a pic, I can email one on request though.
20. I was weighing up getting the hustle drive this afternoon. I bought the eq for now. I'm looking forward to the lofi machine.
21. Just ordered myself the bass EQ £33.52. Result.
22. Right now? The smiths - heaven knows I'm miserable now, but the smiths in general.
23. Hi all, After finding out about them, I'm considering changing my entire board for these mooer micro pedals, purely for practical reasons and moving around. Anyone used them got any opinions on them? Many thanks James
