Heya m8, is it the J retro or deluxe?

This is quite a cracking amp, however after parting with my Gallien Krueger im actually starting to regret it slightly as this head gives a much more 'mellow' tone rather than the ridiculously punchy punk type of tone I was so used too. I did try to like this as much as my old GK, I really did, but it looks like im going to go back to GK after all... The valve preamp is very nice and when pushed you can get a nice warm overdriven sound when cranked to the full! mmmm Iv just had it fully serviced from Rock bottom in Croydon, and so its in optimum working condition. Condition wise it's in very good condition except for a few scuffs due to being kept in a rack case and is also very slightly worn on the rack ears from being in a rack case for such a long time. Other than that it looks superb. Bought this the other day off Tom_683, however after a good play with it i realised it wasn't really the sound i was looking for. Its a great pedal nonetheless, looks superb and has an awesome fuzz sound when cranked right up. Im open to trades as well, looking for a wah pedal of some sort mainly.

I just use a variable power supply from Maplins to power it, which works fine. I found it very versitile in that respect. Hope this helps

Unfortunatly my financial status isnt too well at the moment and so these are going to have to go. [b]*EDIT* Q-tron sold![/b] [b]*EDIT* eq drive pedal on hold![/b] Bought them in August 08. They have a 1 year warantee with Dave and work so well together. The sounds from the drive pedal are fantastic and i replaced the EXH valve that was originally put in there with a Mullard 12AX7.You can hear a sample on one of my bands songs "burn" on our myspace. The compression still has the EXH valve in it and works particularly well with an active bass! These pedals are in great nik and im looking for about £90 posted on the drive pedal and £80 posted on the compression pedal. We can work out some sort of deal if you want both of em. i will also accept Pm'ed offers Whilst im selling these i though id also list my EXH micro q-tron. Its in great condition and works flawlessly looking for £25 for this
