    I stumbled across these guys on Jools Holland last night.. What a sound! Best two piece band i've ever heard, blows Blood Red Shoes and The Black Keys out of the water IMO.

    Interesting that some of you have been using the same cable since the 70's! I think my main concern is the length. Vox for example list their cables as being 9m long, sure, that's the total length but the actual length would be what, 3m? I'd really need a coiled cable that is actually 7-8m long. I'm sure that will be quite expensive and pretty specialist, but can anyone point me in the right direction for that, or are there any companies that offer a custom length?

    I've messed around with linking it both pre and post amp wooks. I prefer post because I always got to send the full tone of my orange amp to FOH. Worked an absolute treat that way!

    Up for grabs is my trusted JDI. Now i'm not using my Orange rig anymore I have no use for this. You all know how good these are, clean as anything and will never let you down! Comes with box, manual etc.. £130, no trades please. Cheers, Mike.

    Anyone here use them over standard straight cables? I like the look of them and have done a bit of research, however most people seam to only have them a few months before the cable breaks! Does anyone have any experience with them and are they as bad as people make them out to be?

    Hi all, up for grabs is my trusted Orange rig. This needs no introduction, you all know how good these amps are! Unfortunately i'm downsizing to a more lightweight rig and this is going to have to go. The amp has been re-valved and fully serviced early Jan 2014 and also comes with a bright orange flight case. OBC410 is rated at 600W 8ohm. Condition wise it's got a little bit of rock and roll mojo and personally think it looks great like that!     Just finished putting together my frankenfaker Jazz. A serious collaboration of various bits and bobs that iv'e accumulated over the last couple of years. Re-lacquered the neck myself and now it feels nicer than most fenders i've owned/played in the past.

    Without a doubt a Peavy Session bass 400. Had to use it in a rehearsal the other week after sending my Orange amp to be serviced. Iv'e never heard my stingray sound so awful. AVOID them at all costs!

    That's a great idea hamfist! I might do that on one my MM neck as it's unfinished and starting to look a bit 'dirty'. As for my jazz neck, I defiantly want a high gloss finish on it. If there's no takers on here I might just bit the bullet and do it.

    Did you get your neck lacquered? I'd be interested to know if someone could do the same for me as i'm a little scared to do it myself and potentially mess it up...
