1.
This is great stuff man! Lovely production, totally professional sounding band with class and personality. You also have bass tone to die for. Particularly like Wake Up Call.
Cheers bud! Same to you with Kit Richardson, get in touch with The Bedford, Balham and get booked to play the theatre. I think you guys suit the venue quite well! (I'm one of the engineers there)
2. Doubt this will get any response but worth a try! So it's my bands first gig of the year after a writing and recording break. We are headlining with 3 bands supporting (Tank Trap, The Simon Sampson Rock'n'roll Band and Rolled Up 20s) Tickets are £8 we are on at 10pm and the 100 club is a wicked venue. Should be a pretty rammed night to! Give me a shout if you fancy listening to some good ol' Rock this Friday! 9. I'm thinking about having a go at this mod as it's something that I always wished was standard on the big muff. One question, how important is the size of the wire gauge for this? I.E would there be a significant difference using 1.5mm from 2mm, etc..
10. It doesn't need power to change the channel on the amp, however if you put a 9v battery inside it, the LED's on the foot-switch will work to let you know which switch is 'on'
11. Ill take this off you mate! Been looking for one for ages.
12. Bought a Black scratch plate to go with my bass making this a bit redundant... It's 3x ply White, Black, White and in pretty good condition. £15 posted. Thanks, Mike.
13. Up for sale are a couple of pedals I really don't have any use for anymore. Boss SYB-5 Synthesiser. (Good condition, Manual, no Box) [s]£75[/s] £65 posted [s]Boss LMB-3 Limiter/Enhancer (Great condition, with Box + Manual) £35 posted[/s] Proel PFS38 footswitch (2 channel footswitch, good condition, 2m length) [s]£15[/s] £10 posted Thanks, Mike.
14.
http://www.soundonso...es/diboxes.html See bit on connecting amp outputs.. I was surprised as well :-)
Interesting read, I didn't know active D.I boxes could handle a feed from the speaker out. I still am however being more and more swayed to go a bit more expensive, as something like the Radial JDI or Countryman 85 will last me for as long as I tour and I want to make sure the quality sent to the desk is second to none. On the flip side, has anyone A/B'd any of the Behringers with a microphone on bass (or guitar)? How do they compare to an sm57 or similar?
