1. I sold my octamizer a few months ago and im absolutely kicking myself was thinking of moving on a couple of bits to get one.
2. Yours is definitely a Euro LX model, I remember comparing this to the Warwick streamer stage 1 and Warwick jazzman I had at the time and I preferred the Spector. Mine is an older model which is an all maple body as opposed to the Alder/walnut/maple sandwich the LX has. I think I'd prefer the warmer LX tone, however the east pre amp in mine coupled with the maple body sounds massive
3. I've still got this stuff lying around if anyone wants them
4. I played through two Accugroove Tri 110L,s for 5 years and they always sounded amazing, got rid of them recently to get a Bergantino and the jury is still out. Really glad to hear Accugroove are going back into production
5. I've played this bass when its previous owner brought it to my house to try a cab I was selling, fantastic sound and plays beautifully I had this bass in mind when I got my Spector 5 The Spector Euro 4 lx is 34" scale and is Alder/Walnut/Maple BUMP!!
6. id love this to drive my Ip112er, but it would take me bloody ages to sell enough gear to buy it been reading up on this a sounds like a cool pre.
7. Ive a spare single john east knob thst you can have (the sloped top one), youd be able to make your trade then, for some reason my chrome east deluxe came with the same knobs found on the audere pre. looks nicer on a jazz I think though.
8. Wow, if I had the cash id be all over this, absolutely fantastic colour on a p bass just stunning
9.
To my ears SWR kit sounds like silk cushions dangling from a crooked sycamore tree. Ampeg are more like a purple sofa covered in Marmite® Trace Elliott have a "treacle and cricket" feel to them Ive just spat my brew across the room Mark Bass insist on their own design of isopods wrestling in a small tray of cheese on a rainy Wednesday. Genz have a 'tin foil hat on top of a windy hill' edge. Or not. Of course all of this is subjective (taking into account lunar phase, acoustics and allowing for wind resistance). I'll get me coat.
Ive just spat my brew across the room -lol
10. fantastic bit of kit, ive had mine 8 years now, its very tatty but works great
