1. I remember reading a ( favourable) review of one of these, many years ago, a very interesting looking bass- good luck with the sale, the price is certainly very good.
2. Did this sell?
3. Vey nice indeed, i dont normally like Buckeye burl, but thats lovely!!
4. I had one of these and loved it, i also never noticed any loss of tone, so not sure if the true bypass is any better, im very tempted by this
5. wow, that looks fantastic, i played one of these at the Manchester bass day ( EBS Freaks bass actually), and it sounded amazing, i kept wanting to slap all the time, and its not something i normally do on my gigs, amazing range of tones and quality to rival any fodera, i would love this bass. big bump for your sale, id love to se more pics.
6. I really like my washburn acoustic, and they do a 5 string version, not really seen any about though, i got the 4 to see if i liked it, so a 5 is definately on the cards now.
7.
Ah, if this were only a 4-stringer....
Ditto i really wanted Lornes, but alas, no cash, and with daughter no 2 on the way, additional spector basses are not going to happen soon, never mind eh!, just to say aagin this green finish is fantastic - bump
8. was the pending payment made? is this finally sold
9. goegeous bass, i will own a pre EB stingray at some point
10. Great stands these. i had one ages ago, unfortunaely a visiting band at the holiday park i was playing at, "Borrowed" it without my permission and i never saw it again, didnt think you could still get these
11. Fantastic basses, as used by John pattitucci , i am currently tempted to go to a sixer, i like my spector to much though!!
12.
La Bella 760N Black Nylons
+1 I have these on my electro acoustic bass , very warm and woody thump, but surprising clear in the high end, oh and great tension, if i ever get another P bass, ill put some of these on
13. Incredible grain on that ash body!!, put a J retro in there and marcus tastic, someones very lucky to getting this beauty
14. yeah i really miss mine too, i had to sell it to help pay santa clause id do it again though!!, seems my original pics of mine are gone, loving the maple beauties very nice indeed.
15. i doubt it, if i had the cash id have it off you in a minute, unfortunately i dont, these are fantastic instruments and im sure it will sell eventually. very best of luck with your sale
16. If the nordstrands were the the Dc40 size, they would go great with my east modded spector!!! Shame!!
17. Thats fantastic, many years ago (1998, to be exact) i bought a 4 string LX in exactly the same colour, i still miss that bass to this day, it went all around the world with me and i part exchanged it for a custom colour 90 streamer NT, and it wasnt as good !!!!, i was gutted, i have the east pre in my spector , and its amazing, just as an aside judging from the year of your LX it will have the nice slim wenge neck and not the baseball bat ovangol ones ( like my old streamer jazzman) am i right ?
18. I love that ultra amber 4, judging by the quality of the quilt, im assuming its a full on USA jobbie, very doug wimbish, that has got to be my fave colour on a spector, fantastic collection!
19. wow, thats one of the nicest looking Sadowskys ive seen, love the idea of the mid boost and slim neck too, if i thought it would make me sound like will lee, id be straight in - lol
20. As recall, they were advertised, as beginner basses, and usually came with a little 10 watt amp and a curly lead for not very much money, i really wanted one, when i was a kid i got a marlin guitar , it was black and pointy headstocked and i loved it, i eventuallly sacked it off for a fender strat, and sacked that off for a JV squier jazz that i still have.
21. Absolutely gorgeous finish!!!
22. Absolutely amazing bass, I'm glad your selling this to fund a fodera (which one ?) And not because your skint. -lol I still miss my smith !
23. I used one of these as my main gigging bass for about five years ( a standard one though) and he range/quality of tones is amazing, this has some nice little touches I wish I'd ordered- a great bass -bump
